Very nice! What I was looking for, before settling on my 120i as I couldn't find a decent 130i.

Can you disable the passenger airbag on yours? (I see a child seat there.)

Yeah i snapped it up. Was only for sale for about a day.

No idea on airbag. It's a front facing booster seat though, so airbag deactivation isn't required...but now you've got me questionning myself ..

Mine has a blanking plate where the switch should be, so my son just sits in the back.

Lovely car! I keep looking at these as a potential replacement for my 325ti, but then I do get an N52 fix in my Z4 Coupe!

On the airbag question, open the passenger door and look at the end of the dash - if it can be turned off there will be a key-slot visible (my 123d had that feature).

Cheers for the heads-up about the airbag guys. I just assumed at 7yrs old he'd be ok in the front on a booster. It seems maybe not

Not usually a fan of 'non round' wheels but that looks great!

Thank you. The car is going for a a long stint to the finest specialist in the uk to make it close to perfection. Doesn't make any sense financially but hey, since when owning an E34M5 make sense for your wallet!! biglaugh

Yes. I love it.

It is getting a lot of attention -good attention, people interested in it the capability, photo oppo's. I have an M4 coupe here too and they are chalk and cheese with experience (noise for one!)

The i8 isnt that easy to play with around the grip limit ( likethe M4/M240 is easy to slide and have fun with) it seems to get uncomfortable near the extreme. But, it it mid engine'd awd, so I think that is the main difference ( I owned an Exige S in a past life and it was similar)

All in all, the 8 is a very very nice car - would I buy one? Yes, if I had a daily driver and it was a second vehicle and defo not at e140k!

M3 Manual turning into Quarry corner at Castle Combe in the damp last month. Astonishing car, can't imagine many cars can adapt to track and road as readily and practically and be as fun on both. Follow your car dreams guys I'm living mine!

Thanks! I was actually questioning opting for the flat bottom for a whole week before pulling the trigger. I know how people raise eyebrows on the net tongue out But I liked it and it was more subtle than straight cut flat like on other modern "sports trim" cars.

Here's a view from the passenger side:

You're not the first person I've seen saying that! Lord knows that would also be me in years to come when I move on from it too. All the m,ore reason to just run it into the ground and enjoy it until then I guess!
