Very nice, very good looking car - and you will love the engine and (hugely surprising) performance that comes with it, quite unlike the usual perception of a diesel - once started it even sounds quite throaty, and revs out nicely.
I'm still not sure why people choose the tint on the back windows though, to me, it makes it look somewhat 'commercial' - but different strokes and all that...!
What have you gone for on the inside?
Ideally it would have been something lighter, as I had black in the 330, but the Pano lightened it up. However, it was a matter of having what it came with, so I have black again. Reasonably well spec'd, with elecy seats, pro Nav, HK, folding mirrors, wireless charging, Msport plus and a couple of other bits I have forgotten. I'm enjoying it very much.
Let's face it - the ICE-powered car is living on borrowed time. Electrification is the future for daily drivers, and BMW is way behind the curve on that front. Tesla, for all its faults, caught the rest of the industry napping, and we've seen more progress from VW in catching up than BMW. Internal combustion sales are going to plummet (if not be significantly outlawed), and BMW has got to play to its strengths. Electric drive is not currently one of them - and the downsizing turbocharging trend is increasingly being exposed as the next big con after diesel. BMW is only getting away with its utterly horrific styling because people are snobbish sheep and HAVE to have a posh brand, no matter how crap the car wearing it (see the X2). As that crowd drift away to Tesla and the like, BMW sales are going to crash - and at that point, they are going to have to refocus as an enthusiast brand along Porsche lines, with better design, better build quality, better engines - the stuff that actually appeals to petrolheads. Only through doing so can their long-term survival be assured - at the moment, they're riding on a bubble that's about to go pop.

BMW may appear to be well behind Tesla in electric car tech, but the battery/motor/controller side is relatively easy to do. Where BMW are miles ahead of any other mainstream manufacture is in their chassis and CF tech. This is the area where electric vehicles will significantly benefit due to the weight savings that it gives. BMW have invested a huge amount of resources in this area, and I'm sure it will pay off in the medium/long term.A company did a comprehensive report on the construction of the i3, to read it will cost you about $500,000, but the conclusion was pretty much "The i3 is the most advanced vehicle on the planet.".

Correct me if i'm wrong, but black wheels, black kidney grilles, black exhaust tips (i think?). Comes with some options already ticked too like driver comfort pack (again, i think?).
No difference in suspension or power. Just cosmetic. Nice though
Basically true. The inner dashboard is also signed by either Rupert Everett, Simon Walker or Reba McIntyre, depending on original owner’s preference (or build date if no preference detailed)No difference in suspension or power. Just cosmetic. Nice though
