Nothing that spectacular, but I put a deposit on an E91 325i Touring yesterday so time for a photo! (I'll be looking for some bigger wheels soon - it currently has 16s with winters!

ETA I picked it up on 21 Feb. And after a VIN check - it seems I have Lemon leather which is quite unusual. And it's heated - a bonus just now! laugh

It will never be that comfortable again.

Mine is on 18s and it feels like the tyres are made of stone sometimes.

Split the difference, I kept my square set-up winter 17s on and put Michelin Pilots sport 4 tires on, brilliant combo of ride comfort and handling. E92 335i

Thankfully as well as - but sadly my E46 Compact 325ti Sport in Imola Red will have to go. frown

But my Z4C isn't going anywhere - unless I take it there! laugh

OZ Superleggera wheels? Not something I'd normally associate with an E9* but I really like them.

225 45 all round?

My square winters have 225 45 front and 245 40 rear. Toying with idea of sticking to this or going 18 go flat summer.

How can a square set up have wider wheel at the rear, surely that is a staggered set up?

Well I was thinking of 17s - but I may go down the non-runflat path so if I do 18s would probably be OK. It is an SE in any case, so a bit softer than the Sport.

Time will tell!

Thanks

I've also got a set of 18 in grey. Can't decide if i should put the 18 on the e91 or the e61.

They're a little bit cheaper than the 18 too. I found a great deal on some Goodyear ass 3. I think it was my tyres. Let me check...

I never drove 18s on my 335i, but changing down from staggered 19s (on Michelin Pilot Supersports) to the square 17s, even when at first they were on with Hankook winter tyres , the car not only rode more comfortably but it felt lighter and nimbler, more like my old E46. when I changed to the Michelins pilot Sport 4 - with the better all round grip- it was an amazing combo.

17s were cheap and plentiful.

I did have staggered 18s on my old E46, that ride was inferior to the 17s on 335i - but appreciate it's not like for like.
