Cracking deal on that 525i. That E46 328i is bloody lovely too. The one thing I dislike about E46 Tourings in general is rear 3/4 visibility - mine was a literal pain in the neck throughout the time I had it. E39 Tourings are much easier to see out of when reversing!

Great 328i. Tried to find a touring but everything was 318’s.

Cheers. Needs some TLC but all the big stuff seems to have been done. New clutch, radiator and water pump, Oil breather pipes etc.

The big boy down by the beach at Ku De Ta, Seminyak.

Weather could have looked a bit more tropical.

200km drive to the closest euro Indy garage to get the Power Steering pump fixed, only to find out that the Nearest main dealer (in Surabaya, 400km away) had just not tightened up the PAS Pump hosed at the last service, then advised that we needed a new pump. Thieving s.

I’ve posted this one here before but as I have just waxed it and I like the picture, I thought I would do so again.

Love the colour, and as you mention it must be a bit quick with that engine biggrin

I wonder how much bigger this is vs the X4? We borrowed an X4 from my OH work and I didn't see the point over a X3, and the boot was so impractical.

My relatively new (to me) F31 D3, just had an interim oil service completed. Needs a clean!

That's lovely. What number?
Sorry I missed this, it is #002 - I understand it was the first UK F31 touring.

Cheers

Thank you. It is indeed. It even has the funny seat fabric.

Thanks mate. I’m a sea of greys, blacks and whites. This one just screamed out at me! It’s vast compared to the X4. Boot is odd though, it’s very shallow for its width, and where the spare wheel should be/isn’t, there’s another six inch deep well under an over engineered lid. It’s fine for my needs but definitely down on practicality compared to an x5.

Not really into it, but the looks it gets are quite something

Cheers, I think I just got lucky with timing, I was surprised how many didn’t have Pro-Nav! I ended up compromising on the colour for the spec, I would have loved Alpina Green or Alpina Blue, or Grey with contrasting tan/brown interior.

Off the top of my head mine has pan roof, pro nav, enhanced blue tooth, high-beam assist, reversing camera, 20 inch wheels, folding mirrors, shadow line gloss black exterior trim, privacy glass, detachable tow bar, black headlining, silver leather edged Alpina floor mats, silver leather Alpina stripes on the headrests and silver stitched steering wheel.

I also wanted a sub 60k mile example to enable me to put a BMW warranty on the car, unfortunately BMW warranty seem to put Alpina models in the same price bracket as M cars!

Thankfully it had discs and pads all round and 4 x new Michelin PS4S tyres earlier this year, which saved me some £££’s.
