2001 Z3 Coupe 3.0 Cross Drilled Rotors?
Discussion
You're wasting your money with drilled... drilled rototrs are 99.9% cosmetic. Go for either slotted or standard. I had stoptech slotted rotors on my Z4, I didn't notice any bad vibration through the brake pedal which is some times associated with grooved discs and they always kept the pads fresh.. never glazed over.

if these use the same floating disks as the M Coupe then stick to them. From what i have read non after market disk has worked as well as the oem floater unless big money is spent.
Are the BMW OE optional ones cross-drilled or are the holes cast like in some of the Porsche ones?gwatson said:

Don't slotted discs cause excessive/quick wear?Good read here: http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/faqs.shtml

Thanks again.
Not sure excessive is the right word.. but I guess in theory they will wear out slight quicker.. maybe 2k less on a set or something. But in my opinion keeping the pads "fresh" it is def worth it.. they feel as good 10k miles later than the day I put them on (well after the run in period)
