They completely ruin the lines of the car and are tasteless. They make it look like a drug dealers car. I'm not a fan at all.

I think it would look much better with something like a set of Breyton Vision wheels. They'd definitely be an improvement in the taste department!

I admire your honesty. What does yours ride on? Not a fan of Breyton Visions - they look naff.

You're in a minority and a small one at that. But each to their own.

Cant see you liking my (gone but not forgotten) 535d either

Mine is riding on 18" MV2s. You're right about the E60 too however I do like the bodykit on it. Pity about the wheels though!
I just think that AC Schnitzer have went a bit too far into chav territory with their wheels which is a shame. I think it's down to the amount of Corsas and Fiestas driving around on Ripspeed wheels which have a similar look, i.e. the polished face and black internals.

I love the colour of the Zed though. I considered it myself but for some reason changed my mind at the last minute. God knows why!

Funny how opinions differ isnt it? I wouldnt have mv2s on anything other than an e46. The mv2s were removed from the z4 even before it left the forecourt, in fact it was a deal breaker before the car was ordered as we insisted the dealer bought them back, and i ordered my 535d with the 172 19 inch rims to get away from the mv2s. I just think the z4 deserves something a little different from the run of the mill repmobile stuff.

But other than our differing opinions on rims, arent they a great car? Love ours to bits. I could listen to the engine all day...

No need to apologise. It would be a boring world if we all liked only the same things.

The E64CA I sold me Dad had these AC wheels on and they didn't fill the arches. I think the max is E60 for these rims and I do like the look on your E60. Got the valances as well, nice touch.

You post a picture of a car and invite comment.

Lots of people will probably love it.

I (along with a number of others, it seems) don't.

Why do you care?

I guess i would have tried to be constructive or not replied at all if it had been me rather than a one word derogatory response. But maybe thats just me.

Look, it's a very nice car with wheels that just don't appeal to me.

You may well not like my choice of car/wheels either.

ps the colour of the car is fab!!

I can't say I'm a fan either.
Unfortunately ultra thin tyres simple makes me think of "rubbish ride quality".

Yes, depending on your disposition, you could describe the ride as 'firm'. LOL

But then it was anyway on its standard rim and tyre combo.
Indeed. I have heard a few reports that the ride quality with lower profile "normal" tyres on 19" rims is actually noticeably better than the standard 18" rims on runflat tyres.

But as you say, apart from the differing opinions on the wheels they are a truely awesome car. Nothing on the road looks anything like it and the engine is an absolute peach as well. Despite the harsh ride I absolutely adore mine!

The wheels look good IMHO. However, IMHO there is only one wheel to have on a Z4, and they are the ellipsoid alloys smile
