You know what I mean though...

The guy posts them up gets laughed at then goes on about how they are not constructive posts..

There is nothing you can do to an alloy wheel to make it better accept maybe paint it.

As I said constructive criticism is something you give one a website design or something that can be tailored.

I was being sarcastic.

I've already had a bking from him for commenting on how the car's looks were not improved by the fitment on these wheels.
I am, however, beginning to get over it.

Not a fan.

Turned two nice looking classy motors into footballer style chav chic.

Agreed. ACS seem to be aiming at the Kahn market these days. Nicer than the ACS Style 4, though!

The 19" CSL alloys seem to suit the Z4 very well.

Bemusingly those people who have 'laughed at' those rims tend to drive something fairly average and naff, with equally average and naff rims.

I didn't see anyone laughing. Just a few comments about how awful they looked.

The simple fact is that posting something on a forum is going to attract comment; good and bad.

Surely you didn't think that there would be 100% positive comments?

Get over it.

And what would make you an expert on bmw z4 styling? What do you personally currently drive that would make you feel those rims should be laughed at?
At current a Chevrolet Matiz 07 SE hire car.

As said get over it, obviously its going to offend you because the ones on your 5 are of a similar style and almost as bad.

With being here 5 months I think you like me are hardly qualified to say what ruins said forum. As we have only just joined it.

In regards to criticisms.. you post pictures up in the view for people to comment.. what did you expect..

Chill out man

I don't like those rims on the Z4 either.

I have a Z4MC. Does that make me qualified to comment?

I always wondered why so few people posted pics of their cars on here. Now i know why - because it gives one or two wind up merchants the opportunity to get on like immature playground kids.

I didnt expect everyone to universally like the rims - that was never the point - it was to let people see what could be done, particularly those who had z4s and might be thinking of a rim change. However i take exception with people going out of their way to be pig ignorant, therefore i have removed the images that caused such great offence to them to feel so moved to do that.

Ironically, when you look around at other posts they have made, all they have done here is be true to form - often trying to be smart and belittle other people, even when they dont actually drive the brand.

Drawing a line. Bye.

Well hasn't this thread turned into a peach. Someone posts pics and invites comment and when they aren't all positive he takes his football and goes home. I'd expect such behaviour from a kid and not an adult!

Why take the comments so personally? Why do you care if other people don't like the wheels? All that matters is whether or not YOU like them. If you like them, the opinion of other people doesn't really matter, does it now?

It has nothing to do with not getting all positive comments, but comments like this by a couple of people are unnecessary and designed to offend and provoke a reaction.

"They completely ruin the lines of the car and are tasteless. They make it look like a drug dealers car"

"Chav."

"The guy posts them up gets laughed at "

"a few comments about how awful they looked"

"f ucking thick and narrow minded"

Hardly the purpose of an enthusiasts forum.
