You've bought 4 of the same car? Wow.

Weren't they the two-tone paintwork editions? e.g I remember one near us as a kid with light and dark green paintwork.

Oh, respect is most definitely due!
I've just had a ickle trouser incident at the thought!

Can't wait to find out, and see the photos!
I do recall an olive green special early 633 in an early TOTAL BMW, I'll try to drag it out....

Hi,

This is the 633 CSI LTD EDITION. One of 10 ever made. Got a load of paperwork from BMW including letters and certificate (showing Num 4 of 10).

I then found this scan which is what the car should look like....

This is the 628 CSI

And then the 2 M6s.......(blue one is damaged at the rear)

I am bit a of a classic car collector....didnt really intend on buying 4 of these, but just the way it happened. I intend to swap the running gear from the damaged M6 into the 628 and turn it into a full blown track day car.

The white M6 is nice and original, needs a couple of minor jobs on the body and thats about it.

And I intend to restore the LTD EDITION to its former glory.

Cheers
Paul

When you see the car in real life, the front looks too high without the air dam.

God knows where Im going to find one of them!

Would love to know more about them...I consider myself fairly anal when it comes to car knowledge, but I had never heard of these......

I've always been a huge fan of the old 6 Series and I've never heard of these 'Limited Edition' cars.

No idea where you are going to get a replacement front dam from, might be an idea to contact the club or BMW GB and see what they have in Germany vis their 'Mobile Tradition' parts scheme. Other wise you could get one made, no idea how much that would cost though!

I'm damn jealous that you have 4 though!

Good luck with the restoration, I can't wait to see the 633i finished!

I wonder where the 'Fire tender' has ended up?

It might be worth giving someone a call at BMW in Bracknell about the front air dam, I'm sure they will have records of it there. Anyone know where the other 9 are?

Not sure on the other 9. The car in the photo (TOY) is still registered, so I assume its still about.

I beleive there is one in Holland.

Where the others are I dont know, be very interesting to find out.
