Warranty question - Seats

I take it that seats are not covered by the 3 year warranty.

The passenger seat on my 118i is lumpy with what looks like a spring protruding into the material.

I had the stitching go on the rear seat in my 320d touring, which was strange as they were hardly ever used. No problem being changed under warranty though, just had to wait about a week for the part to come from Germany.
