Hi all

Brake warning light came on during a trip to Somerset this weekend. I'm assuming it's warning that brake pads needs replacing (it's the orange light, a circle with the brake shoes on the outside).

Had the front pads (and discs replaced in December) so it's probably the rears.

One thing though, and I'm ashamed we've had the car a year and I've only just realised this, but where the heck is the brake fluid resovoir in the engine bay????!!!???

Cheers

Paul

Probably won't be of any help to you, but my car currently has the brake warning light on - has done since bought, except the pads were just replaced, i think it needs to be reset..? (compact e36)

Brake fluid reservoir is under the drivers side microfilter housing.

Mine needed pads recently and I'm sure the warning light was red as opposed to orange. Maybe it's the low fluid light.
