BMWise in bexleyheath have been looking after my car for about 8 years, always find them to be very helpful, and the work is always excellent..... would highly recommend...

+1 for BMWise. I've used them for years and they are excellent, really helpful and understanding. They can actully explain what is wrong and why to a mechanical dunce like me and have the patients to do so.
Lets just say I have used them and won't be going back.

Cotty, were these the guys that were involved in the `lifting incident` mate?

No, but I'm certainly interested to know if they are worthwhile.

Are you far from them or looking to try them yourself?

I went there the other day actually and asked whether they could fit a roof module for the Z4 so it would operate from the remote. Not a major job apparently. I explained what it was and what it would do. The chap hadnt heard of it and said he'd ask the boss and call me back. They haven't done so yet. That's the limit of my experience so far and I suspect it will stay that way.

That doesn't sound like a good start. However, sometimes people get distracted or forget?

Did it look like a decent operation, or just a few guys working out of a shed? I notice the website you posted was pretty poor for a business. A sign of what to expect, perhaps?

Yes... Bexley Motorsport, ETA, anyone... you can do better than BMwise I think. Me personally I use Bexley Motosport (www.BMsport.com) who look after a number of my cars.

in BMwise's defence, i was in for a service a week or so after this happened, and the young fella responsible for cotty's car was about to be given the old heave-ho... no idea if it actually happened mind....

I can only really pass on my first impression. It was a bit like a barn and I didn't feel confident leaving my Z4 there. It is what it is though, just a first impression.

Other problem is if you dropped your car off there you're in the middle of nowhere.

Maybe theey're good but there's a garage around the corner from me where the bloke has been in business for 35+ years so I'll be booking mine in there to look at the brakes.
