Z4 Standard fit or Nav CD Player - will it play MP3s?

Hi all - as the title says really...if I stick a load of MP3/4 tracks on a CD, will the CD drive play them?

Both the in-dash and changer do on my 2006 Z4M with Nav, not sure about earlier.

I'll have to try that. I did fit an Aux-In though, so negates the need for it now.

Ok thanks chaps. In the end, I just tried it...and it worked! I have a Z4MC with Pro Nav...and the single slot CD player plays MP3 files located in the root of the CD. I think most MP3 players will also go one directory down too, although I haven't tried this.
