I-pod in E46

Does anyone know the easiest way to connect an i-pod up to the std e46 business cd player - car is a 54reg if that helps.

I've got a Dension Gateway 100. Works fine, displays track and artist info on the standard head-unit, you can control it from the steering wheel buttons.
