I love it, really comfortable, removable lining ( i washed it as i got it second hand off ebay for £50)
I believe it is a Premier vintage, look them up on ebay, i think there are some for about £70 in different colours etc.
It has an internal visor that you just pull down and it works well where you could cope with max speeds on thee old classic I generally use it on the scooter as i am behind a screen but i do also use it on the GSXR for trips to work ( 6 miles) but you have to be carful with thee odd bug/stone in the face!

Well i have just put sunglasses on, and yes the visor still moves down over the glasses, as it is not sprung you can move the visor down to your desired position, at the lowest level it is just above the bridge of my nose.
The brother in law has a 'bobber' and wears the piss pot ( viper for £5 from BMF) and goggles with bandana - i guess thats the 'look' and to him the internal visor is 'Uncool'
Last week at Krazy horse, he was 'uncool' when the AA van pulled up to pick up his Bobber

Arai RX7-GP. best lid I have ever had. From Japan and 1/2 the price of a UK lid plus temporary British Stds sticker for trackdays.
Is there any particular companies you'd recommend when buying from Japan? Am I right in saying there's no duty on lids too? I'm not too bothered if it's got the right sticker or not as I assume the helmet is just as good? srob said:
Cheers, may have to look In to it. Would the visor clear glasses do you reckon/know?
I wear goggles at the moment but fancy a change for a while and like the idea of a dark visor too
Just to update this, I bought one of the Premier open face/sliding visor jobs a couple of weeks ago and after a week of solid riding in absolutely appalling weather I can confirm it's a bloody good bit of kit!I wear goggles at the moment but fancy a change for a while and like the idea of a dark visor too
The visor clears my glasses and most importantly comes down low enough to stop water/bugs/st flying up inside it. But not so low you get any condensation or steaming up.
It's really light too and comfortable for 10 hours a day

NEC is the venu which holds motorcycle live. This is a big motorcycle show. Worth a visit if you want to pick yourself up a bargain minus cost of entrance and travel of course.
I'm yet to find a deal at the NEC which beats what you can easily find online or just plain, good, old-fashioned haggling with your local gear supplier.Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
