Sorry I've been uber-lurking again but just wondered how many had gone for the 3099 deal on a KTM 390 Duke and if you've got it, what's the verdict?

The deal is still available at my nearest dealer and I'm that close. They seem insanely cheap, but I don't need it, just want it.....

Oh well, just gone and ordered one.... I'd dragged my heels so long that the last local pre-reg was gone but they've done me one for 3300, 2018 registered with me as first owner. This is going to be a giggle, I reckon it'll be a great partner for my Guzzi V7 Racer.

That’s the bog standard one with none of the gizmos that are now expected on modern bikes.

The GSXR1000RRRRRRRRRRR is the one that people want and is still £16000+

I did actually went for this deal but unfortunately it seems the fit isn't quite right for my rather long head — it's tight at the back but has too much side-to-side wiggle.

My hunt for an affordable helmet with Pinlock and a sun visor continues...

Yeah, I'm a bit gutted, it looks great and has the features I want.

Looking around, all the helmets that supposedly fit a long/narrow head cost a bloody fortune! (Arai etc.)

Halfords doing the Muc-Off Motorcycle cleaning kit, basically ALL their bike cleaner stuff, incl brushes, cleaners, lubes, degreasers etc, all in a very nice quality carry / laptop style case for £50, down from £85.

Also the Demon Shine kits for cars down from £30 to £18, quite good stuff for the car

Thanks. bit slow on the uptake but the offer is still valid. The aerosol is crap even when warmed so this is a much better solution.
