You lot are so miserable! I didn't see the show, but quite liked him in the previous series. He is enthusiastic
It's a motorbike show. A rare thing. Don't moan too much or it may become rarer.
If I could give you a gay hug or gay high five, this would be that moment !!It's a motorbike show. A rare thing. Don't moan too much or it may become rarer.

It's ok.
I just get fed up of an hours programming with actually 25mins of stuff in it.
Take of the ads and the number of times they show the same clips (ie 4x falling off on the first trials section at least). I can fwd the adverts on the +box but the constantly showing stuff 2x before it happens then on either side of every ad break, when it happens, and then twice more after it happens is just TV for mongs.

He was at Banbury in full-on celebrity gear (massive hat, huge beard, wacky glasses etc) with a camera crew, so I assume that's going to feature at some point.
May have to start watching it in case.
He also had his arm in a plaster/sling. Wondered if any of you lot had got hold of him.

I sort of "fell across" that show last night. I'd forgotten it was back on but was intrigued to see who Henry Cole is/what his background is after seeing how much he must have thrown at his collection of restored bikes on the show.
According to Wiki he's a substantially successful TV producer/Director with a huge string of stuff credited to him. OK, some of it is obscure Travel channel stuff but no doubt all of it more than paid the bills.
...and he does look like Boorman. So much that I confused Cole for Boorman on the grid at Oulton last year.
And he did direct this for which we should be eternally grateful http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0300070/According to Wiki he's a substantially successful TV producer/Director with a huge string of stuff credited to him. How?<monotone voice>That's it, that's it baby, lets see what you've got, yes, yes, that's got it... </monotone voice>
Ray from the Mary Whitehouse Experience must have been busy that day.
Its one of those shows i record and fast forward on the duller bits, overall , I like it thou..
I thought some of his traveling shows were pretty good, taking in the US, Aus and NZ I think, worth a watch ...ive also used a company he featured for powder coating on one or two of his restorations, after seeing them on the programme.

I quite like him
I actually really like him too,and the programme.Good selection of various biking exploits with a little humour thrown in.People on Pistonhead forums tend to worship the ground that that little prick Hammond walks on,so in their mind this presenter falls waaaayyyy short!Skyrat said:

I wanted to like it and I've only seen this series but there's too much faffing about and not enough actual motorbikes in the motorbike show.
Absolutely. This week when he fell off the dirt bike we spent more time mucking about at the hospital than we saw of the actual Moto X riding.I wanted to like it and I've only seen this series but there's too much faffing about and not enough actual motorbikes in the motorbike show.
Biker falls off and hurts his shoulder. Big deal, we've all done it. Whilst it's important at the time to the individual no one else gives a stuff
