Looking good. Is it going to be track only or get a daytime mot? (for the pedants I know there's technically no such thing)

You going to make an air tube up from the left of the fairing to the left hand side frame spar?

Bit of both maybe, but I've already insured it and going to daytime MOT it... Over winter I may fit lights too as all the wiring is there to do it.

Dunno what that hole in the frame is used for on a standard bike, not planning on doing anything with it as there isn't an airbox to put a feed to anyway.

MOT'd and taxed today, was a fairly difficult ride there I'll be honest - I had the bars low and turned in to clear the fairing on full lock but it was excruciating so put them back where they wanna be and re shaped the nose cone a bit and it's totally different now, really not bad at all even for a big lummox like me. Engine wise it's dead rich so weakened it off and nipped out again about an hour ago and now it just pulls hard soon as I roll the throttle, night and day difference. Before it just stuttered like fk then set off like a scalded cat. All ongoing development basically.

Popped round to hebegeb's for a brew and a chat and he insisted on taking these little videos smile you can hear how it's mega rich on partial throttle, much better now though.

I am running it in but it revs so fast it's hard to stop the fker at times, id be lying if I said it hadn't been round the clock toward the end of the day. But only a couple of times. There's gonna be a fair bit of trial and error setting it up but it's already much better than it was this morning. The way it picks it's feet up is mental though, big grins.

You like them ? They are Timberland. If you were to borrow mine and then ScoTT's Gucci loafers , you could do an in depth review of them , having walked a yard in each .
Your reviews are good .

A yard in each? Ouch, my feelings! I just try to put as much detail in as I can, I've got a real mind for detail, hence the "Rainman" tag. If I win the lottery and buy all of the bikes (and loafers) I will do long term reviews any a few sets of tyres / re-soles wink

Haha - a step in the bantering direction ! All good fun - the devil is in the detail and I can only be the advocate , on occasion - keep the reviews coming buddy and I look forward to seeing your choice at the end of the process - enjoy thumbup

Looks and sounds brilliant mate. Don't think many (including me!) can imagine just how much work you must have put into it to get to this point, you should be very, very proud!

Cheers all, still plenty of finishing touches to do but made sense to get out on it and get some initial teething out the way before paint and dyno time smile
