sorry youre right parked cars you can however.
Is that meant to be said in any particular accent? So to speak.
I tried to track the gears an estimate his speed. I reckon 100-120 for most of it, maybe up to 150-160 on the straight on the return. I would show that sort of pace I would say, but not on a road with so many conflict areas on it. To me that was a step too far. Plenty of driveways to farm buildings there, I didn't appreciate his fly by of the cyclist, couple of roads entering from the side etc etc and he was really only proper fast in a straight line.
Was it too fast for the law? Of course.
Was it too fast for the conditions? I would say so, all things considered.
Was it the time or the place? Not through my eyes.

I mentioned id done 120 (kph obviously) on bri-skoda recently. It did not go down very well, jesus titty fking christ what a back lash.
I was called a tit, irresponsible, dangerous, its not safe to do that speed anywhere, the police could see this etc all by people who were reviewing their tyres and commenting how good they were with their "hard driving" style....
then again this is a site which frequently asks questions like "I got a puncture repair done, will it be ok with my diesel vrs!? its producing almost 280 pounds of torque im worried it will give out on me" or "is it ok to buy a car thats not been serviced by skoda, just an independent garage".

To be fair, 120(mph) is illegal on roads in the UK and it is possible to drive hard without reaching that sort of speed.
The fact that you can legally do 120mph on a single carriageway public road over the IOM mountain and survive suggests that it's possibly not quite as instantly deadly as some people might think if they've never experienced it.
Maybe it's just the way you tell them?

yes, I seem to remember being close to if not above 120 KPH on the Scottish run out and not dying....or coming into any conflict what so ever. to be honest i think I offended a lot by calling their diesel octavia's st slow taxis.
Nothing is too fast for the road. What's unfortunate is that people have a lack of restraint and then post ste like that for all to see on youtube.
Idiots riding waaaay too fast for the conditions should be shamed by the rest of us. It's fukwits like that that'll mean we'll end up having a law like France does where bikes are limited to 100 bhp.
I like having the freedom to go and buy a 190bhp superbike. I don't have one right now, but it's nice to know i could and the insurance wouldn't be terrible.
Whenever i see vids like that though i think i should go shopping while i can, before the law makers ban them.
