Such a good 1st race and I'm really happy to see how Kiyo is riding, it's like he was years ago, he's found that confidence and feeling again. Knockhill wasn't a one off, today has shown that, great racing.
I missed him when he won his titles so for me this is a revelation, he's quite a complex character isn't he.Hoping for more of the same in race 2.
Shaun muir racing have done a 2 year deal with andy reid but it's not clear if that's for super sport or even superbike?
I was also very unfortunately at Brands when so called fans booed his championship, what a bunch of unappreciative morons. Was a sad day for me at BSB and not something I'd seen or heard before in over 25yrs of attending BSB or equivalent racing. Was at Donington when Walkers Suzuki dropped a valve and Hodgson went on to win, we were shouting for Hodgson, but I never heard the crowd (90% supporting Walker) boo or anything .....

I understand it might be a bit boring as a fan if the championship is all tied up early like when camier won but you can't blame the rider.
What's he supposed to do sit out a couple of races to let others catch up.
I'm going to watch the highlights on ITV4 this week, but I am glad that Kiyo is performing well on the BMW. He has always been great to watch and there was some worry about "life after honda".
I hope ayone but Shane "wobbly" Byrne walks away with the title. I'm not keen on him as a person (although I appreciate and respect his ability as a racer and rider). Also, I like seeing Paul Bird loose.

I agree with you about paul bird but i always think shakey comes over as a pretty decent bloke, especially last year when lowes was knocking him off and giving him a good fight for the championship.I hope ayone but Shane "wobbly" Byrne walks away with the title. Re kiyo anyone know what happened in race 2 ?

What makes you say this?
Ive met him a few times. He is a miserable arrogant tt, albeit a talented miserable arrogant tt.Patrick muff and bridewell i'd say what you see is what you get.
Chatting to Dean Ellison today and it looks like James has smashed his kneecap, broken his frmur and fked his hip up. Operation today but looking like a 4 week lay off minimum.
Shame as he was flying at Oulton last week on a big standard ZX10. He was my rider for the title this year. Hope he still makes the showdown without too many podium arrears.

Oh, dear. Sounds like it could be complicated - season ending, even. Is 4 weeks the extremely optimistic target? It seemed as though he was focusing his strategy on getting to the showdown, and not taking too many risks.
That'll be 8 weeks minimum I would say - Nasty accident. LoonR1 said:

A good rider I agree but a brave call I'd say given the competitiveness & experience of the field.Nevertheless a shame for him with a nasty sounding bunch of injuries as he had fought at the front & was indeed in top 3 & helped keep the championship alive.

I don't care either way as he does not impact on my personal life, I think people like Byrne could maybe remember where they came from.

I wonder if camier will take his seat?
