My mate has one like that, it looks good.
What about the new Urban Tiger colour scheme for something a bit different?
Did your mate have the stripes painted or are they transfers? What about the new Urban Tiger colour scheme for something a bit different?
I don't like the urban tiger colours, Aky had one in 1994 and I didn't like that either

He did painted first, then once those fairings were smashed up he bought a plain white set and just put stickers on. I don't like the urban tiger colours, Aky had one in 1994 and I didn't like that either
Both look good, although painted did look slightly better, but cost a fair bit more, and harder to replace.

What is the crack with these caliper bolts on fireblades.
Do they need changing quite regularly. I have read all sorts of opinions on this subject so would like a bit if clarity from someone I know who knows his onions
If you know what I mean

I've never heard anything about it. My mates raced 2011 and 20012 Blades with no issues. Torque up to about 35nm I think and lock wire as usual. Job jobbed.
However, if you have a digital Vernier, maybe keep an eye on them by pulling out and measuring the length, to see if they're stretching or such.

I never changed my caliper bolts, despite the manual telling you to change every time. Always torqued correctly, never fell off. That was a track bike that had ALOT of pad changes, they only lasted 3 days max, and i used to have to clean them alot aswell
I would suspect this is Honda covering their corporate arses. Never heard of a caliper bolt being a1timestretched item??As Neil says, correct torque and it'll be fine
