Silverstone, Oulton
Cartagena, Almeria
Snetterton

1:31's is blimmin good going.
I sponsor a lad called Josh Day, who's similar pace.
BSB guys are doing 1:29's, so 1:31 is right up there

Managed a whole 10laps yesterday at Silverstone before my gearbox decided to destroy itself yet again frown
This time, it slipped out of gear a couple of times, and then going back down the box I got a false neutral between 3rd and 2nd, and then it re-engaged locking the back wheel. Smashed my nuts into the tank, headbutted the screen and stubbed my toe putting my foot down.
Flipping had it with that bike now and if there'd been a match or lighter at the side of the track there, I'd have burnt it to the ground there and then.
I'm on the hunt for a new bike now, so if anyone knows of a 2016+ ZX10R race bike or a 2015+ R1 race bike for sale, let me know

I'll be breaking my ZX10R for parts once I get another bike up and running, so if anyone's after some bits I have a bikes worth

Also, I can't get to next week's track days, so I have fast group slots booked as follows if anyone wants to make me an offer on any of them.
Silverstone GP Monday 24/4
Donington 25/4
Oulton park 26/4

Had booked some time off work for those and was looking forward to a few days riding frown

Gutted for ya graeme really am. Mines not right yet but nothing compared to that

I'd like to do one of them but gonna be at nurburgring until Tuesday so think the wife will give me some grief if I went straight back out on track... That's if I don't crash in the meantime

Cheers Mate. st happens, and I didn't smash myself or the bike up, so could've been a lot worse
Have fun at the Ring, and I'll hopefully catch you when you're back.
Take it easy out there and stay safe. That place scares the crap out of me, and that's in a car

I went to knockhill yesterday for the Niall Mackenzie superbike school.

First trackday of the year, was quite excited going into it, by the end of it I just wanted to go home.

Sunny, but temperatures were around 0 degrees and 40mph north winds.

It was sunny, raining, snowing, sleeting and this was all within 15 minutes.

It was too cold to push, too windy to enjoy (it got halted as part of the surround grandstand area had been ripped up in the wind and was in the sand trap) and I don't do snow.

I went out with Mackenzie for instruction, it started snowing so I went fk this st and came in. There was only about 35 people so they made it an open pit, I fking hate open pits with novice and fast together.

Pie, beans and chips were awesome but.

New (to me) bike turned up this week.
Stripped it down and checked everything, applied my own numbers and will get some Vo2 Slicks on it tomorrow, but it's pretty much ready to go
Once I've ridden it a couple of times, I'll get it painted up in the same colours as my old bike.

The 2016 bike has a different gearbox to my last 2014, so fingers crossed it won't go pop on me as often.

The biggest problem was nearly crashing a few times coming into the pits forgetting I now had fitted a restrictive steering lock stop bracket on and it doesn't turn as well as it did with its broken frame one laugh the looks i got from Dennis Hobbs as I stumbled like a guy on a DAS lesson to save it.

I expected the suspension upgrade to feel like night and day, it didnt really but I wasnt really pushing, what I will notice is I dont need to fight it whatsoever. Its super smooth going over bumps with springs for my weight and upgrade to cartridges. Tyre wear is now spot on. I'll see what it feels like when I get a nice sunny day.

Just need to spray it and its sorted.
