You're getting too giddy. This year is the first time many have turned up to a Trackday or a rideout. The NW / NE rides tend to end up being me, BN and Jazoli with guest appearances from some but rarely does anyone come back.
Trackdays are normally the same. For some reason this year has been really popular. I do a lot of TDs on my own and meet a lot of new people too that way. The paddock is a friendly place, so don't be scared of going on your own to TDs

Has it got fairings? If so why the stress. It's not a beauty parade.
It's no stress it just means waiting a month extra. It does have fairings but their like 8 years old and half held on by gaffa tape. Itl all be done for croft in April and then I can start doing trackdays on a whim rather than having to plan so far in advance. I'm weird I just want to make it look nice.
At the mo it's pretty tatty

If you want to do a euro trip, just say. If you want to do a UK day then I need to wait till may at the earliest
My passport has elapsed otherwise I would. I will do at least one in the coming winter. After doing oulton I'm itching to get out and do more. normally I'd just book Knockhill, its 15 miles away after all. But it's just a bit boring Doing the same 7 corner track over and over. plus I feel cheated paying 170 quid for a circuit like that.
I left oulton buzzing with a stupid grin on my face and anyone who knows me knows I never smile. Doing the same track isn't really exciting

I'll come for another ride out if we don't get lost again on the way to meet you.Trackdays are normally the same. For some reason this year has been really popular. I'm doing a track day on my own on Saturday, I know what mtb is saying about going with someone, even if you've never met them before it gives you something to strike up conversation about. Plus I'm not exactly the most talkative person to start with.
It is slightly daunting but looking forward to it.

You'll enjoy it. Just don't stand there with your thumb up your arse. Introduce yourself and get chatting to some. don't be the guy who spends all day on his tod looking at his feet and eating his pack lunch by himself.

I know your a bit skint with just having a bairn so no problem tim. But if you need a tap of the money and fancy it just give me a shout. I'll fling your fees on my card and you can just pay me back when you can.
That's a kind offer but I'm ok just waiting, I hate the thought of owing people stuff. Which is ironic considering how much I've taken on this year. The baby is minimal cost compared to everything else. We have to pay a grand a month for our wedding as a base then there's all the extra things she keeps adding on, some how sort out another thousand squid for the honeymoon then my Mrs thought it was a top idea to go out and buy a new navara then I thought it'd be good to buy a track bike in the middle oh and I agreed to go to le mans in may. Basically I've just been a silly bd and taken loads on but I'll be right after April and I'll be able to join you guys for a lot of the days. The moral of this is don't have a kid don't have a wedding and if you do don't be stupid and buy loads of other st on top. And if you are as stupid as me then don't come on here and watch everyone else having a good time.Biker's Nemesis said:
