k Spidi leathers and standing in front of a bike, that it's not obvious who caused it. In actual fact it was a bit of both as I had told Jon he was a bit wide on entry into the last left hander, and then he tried it and ground out the crankcase on the kerb. Oooops.

Agreed I don't think I clipped the kerb and apex speed looks same as all my other laps it was turning in point that differed.
Cruising eBay for 2015 R1's at the moment!

I was pondering asking the local paramedics or air ambulalance lot whether they fancy them to practice cutting leathers off rather than just chucking them.
Had a fun day at Silverstone today on the International circuit
I've been to some tracks that are pretty slippy in the wet, but Silverstone was another level today.
It was mega greasy and I can now see how the BSB boys all ended up on their arses.
The two right handers before you head onto the start straight were like Ice, even when the track was starting to dry out
I'll get a video up in a bit when my super slow internet allows me to upload it to youtube.
Met Troy Corser today too. I followed him around for a session in the dry this morning, and he was just smoking up back tyres for fun. Mega bike control

I am doing my 1st trackday in 5 years on Tuesday(19th) at donington on a ZX6R I have recently bought. I haven't ridden a bike for a couple of years, never been round donington and never ridden this bike. What could possibly go wrong!?
I'm off on holiday next Thursday too so I really can't afford to wreck myself. No pressure then!
