VFR750 wheel will go straight in a 96 with existing spacers (94-97 VFR)

I don't think I changed discs or anything. A 91-93 might be the same but I am not sure.

If that’ll take a vo2 slick, I’ve got some scrubs he can have to get him started ?
Yes it would and he'd be over the moon. He's doing it on the relatively cheap without compromising on safety which is why I'm going over bits with him (that actually might be worse idea haha)

If you could put them aside he'd be well chuffed. He's novice pace
No worries
Facebook message me your address, and I'll post them over, unless you're anywhere near Swindon any time soon ?

Early discs don't fit as the PCD is different. I know because I bought a set for a 94 bike that didn't fit my 96!

Also later discs are larger diameter so don't fit IIRC

Cheers bud I double checked with him and it seems like the right wheel... I guess will find out in the next few days!

That's miles away for us. If you can find out how much postage is I'll get him to cover that by PayPal and will message you my address or his to send over

Cheers bud

Sorry just re-read and if you are swapping the wheel complete with discs you might be ok. No idea about the interface with discs and whether it will work!

There are some good fireblade only forums where people have done plenty of mods even if the majority are in the US.

This was a pass someone did to me at Jerez in October. Coming out of turn 10 (for Mckeann!) which is a right hander.

If it was me, I would have got close behind into the corner and passed on the right hand side coming onto the straight. This guy came past on the left, on the rumble strip, then cutting back across and pushing me to the right.

Okay pass and MTFU?

1st thought was - sexy fork bottoms for that R1.

2nd thought was - if someone can get round the outside of you there then fair play, MTFU etc

3rd thought on closer inspection - in the 6 ft between the two shots he's gone from 4 inches on the paint to almost back on the tarmac, quite a lot of turning righg at 70ish mph so a fair bit impolite from him. A proper rider would have just gone along the top of the kerb for another 50 ft while he cleared you. Whether you're speedy or slow don't steal someone's line, so forget thought 2 he was being disrepectful.

Chris, would I be right in thinking you may have been running in Inters group ( yeah - yeah - whatever they chose/ choose to call it on a Euro TD ) ie the middle one ..?
If so I’m reckoning it’s probs a miffed racer type who couldn’t get a place in Fast / ACU / Group 3 of 3 etc who was just being a bit bullish trying to “ demonstrate “ that you maybe had a tiny bit more track to use where he muscled round and in ... unnecessary as Jon says as no prizes out there but not a massively shocking one either - this and a lot closer do happen in 3 quite a bit and is pretty much expected that close and tight proximity passing ( yeah -bullying/showboating ) on occasion will happen by the super quick showing their hand to the less quick .
Which is great but they themselves then run the risk of taking themselves out as and when it goes wrong ....but it’s the arena we put ourselves in and keep going back for more ...!
Hope you had a great time otherwise mate smile

Got it in one. It was Inters Group. I know this sort of thing happens in Fast Group and it's not a big deal but it just felt unnecessary in Inters. Didn't spoil the trip, Jerez was fantastic!

Dropped the RSV4 yesterday for ParcMotor/Valencia next week. Looking forward to getting back out there.

With 40 odd bikes on circuit with massively differing rider skills over 450 miles and 3 days it would be a suprise if you don't have the odd near miss. If one rider makes a habit of it then something needs to be said or done but otherwise most will give others a fright as much they scare him. Truth be known it would be dull if it was just thrashing round a circuit on your own after awhile - 'traffic' (both faster and slower) is an interesting variable.

Enjoy Castelloli - awesome little circuit that's like a thrash round the mountain roads once you learn the line through the bumps.
