Do you do the costal or international? I’m booked on the ones at the end of August, haven’t ridden Anglesey since I had a massive accident there 2 years back so it seemed quite a relaxed way to get back into riding it
We did the full international circuit. It's a lot of fun, and with two days there, it being a long bloody way from home, and it being near 30deg both days, it felt a bit like a mini Euro trip The Whitham days are good, and this was super relaxed. We had a few star riders there, although in reality, we barely saw them unless you went and asked for their help.
Fast group was made up of only 14 or so riders, and 4 of them were myself, two of my mates and the PH'er formally known as LoonR1, so we had a good bunch.
I'd say that unless you're going with faster friends, you'll be disappointed if you're looking for someone to have some fun with as the fast group pace (excluding us, obviously) was more akin to a mid inters pace at any other track day.
The riders Whitham employs are a super experienced bunch - Ste Brogan, Adam Jenkinson, Dean Harrison, Jenny Tinmouth and Lee Johnstone
Well worth the money for just two days of empty track

I really enjoyed the JW days I did there, they were fantastic and worth the extra money. I was contemplating doing some of these recently but my backs fked and I'm struggling riding a road bike.

On a slightly different note, my 11yr old son has just stepped up from Mini Moto racing onto a Metrakit GP50. We've only had it a few weeks, and although he's picked it up really quickly, he managed to smash it to bits yesterday at Kinsham Raceway
In typical racer style, he has every excuse under the sun as to why it happened and none of them include it being his fault
Bloody kids eh

ive just bought a stomp 160 pitbike with supermoto wheels off ebay to race in the BMBCC, looks like a lot of fun and cheaper than big bike racing....
Will get a race report on after my first weekend.

Sounds good, definitely worth the money for clear track. There were about 60 people per group at Donington yesterday and it was a nightmare trying to get a clear lap inThe Whitham days are good, and this was super relaxed. Booked Snetterton 300 on 13th August with a few mates, probably stay in the slow group depending how slow that is.
This attitude really confuses me. You should book the right group for yourself and be prepared to stay in that all day. Group sizes are limited so on a sold out day there’s no huranrtee that you can move up or down moanthebairns said:

For the Knockhill regulars, how early do you need to get there to get a garage normally?
When you doing it? Night or during the day or weekday or weekend. I'll be the only bugger to be able to andwer thisbGavia said:

It's my second ever track day , on a bike I'm hiring. At the first one I did at Silverstone there were some abysmal riders that probably shouldn't be on the road let alone the track, they were left unchecked all day to ruin everyone elses day.
If that's the case again I'd probably try and take my chances in inters, I think I'd prefer to be one of the quicker guys in Novice unless the closing speeds are dangerous.
