Cracking looking and well prepped bike, that! ! I'm out in Cartagena this week, and despite barely riding yesterday due to some kind of food poisoning from a Chinese by the hotel (spent most of the day on the track toilet with my head in the sink), I managed to get out today feeling rough and did a few half sessions on day 2. Anyway, stuck a camera on for a session mid afternoon if anyone's interested
Feeling a lot better tonight, so I'll stick so?me new tyres on in the morning and have a superpole Wednesday as I need to put a stake in the ground here in terms of a few good laps, as next time I'm out here again is in Feb on the new bike I'm racing next year, so want to see how it compares to my Current ZX10R?

Nice video, feels weird thinking this was yesterday when it's 2 degrees and drizzly out of the office window. Great vid, thanks Graeme. I'm out there at the end of next week, will definitely avoid the Chinese restaurant!
It’s a great little track, and super rewarding when you string it all together There’s an amazing steak house in town, which is well worth looking up - El pincho el Castilla
I’m at the airport now, so I’ll get some pics up when I’m home
In the meantime, here’s my handsome mug

Trackdays in Eeeeetaly seem somewhat pricey now!
Yes I've done Mugello and yes it's nice but 4 days of a 4 group event with FE (meh!) in Mugello is same money as a 3 day 3 group event in flipping Malaysia with NL!
No Limits just launched Imola (very interested) for a 4 group event ( bit less interested) £750 for just 2 days (not interested now) and don't forget the extra daily rate for garages (lol!).
Pah! Enduro stuff in Wales it is.
Or Assen, SlovakiaRing, Val de Vienne etc. Must sort out some enthusiasm.
Mugello is the only track I really want to revisit, especially after the total washout 2 years ago. Yes I've done Mugello and yes it's nice but 4 days of a 4 group event with FE (meh!) in Mugello is same money as a 3 day 3 group event in flipping Malaysia with NL!

The first time I attended Mugello was 2014 booked through FE but not ran by them, it was a hassle free, hot 3 days of riding and I can say with hand on heart the best time I have ever had on track.
They ran the 4 groups back in 2014, the usual 3 groups and then the 4th group which was apparently for racers. I had booked fast but got moved up to "because racer" group at DINNER time ( thats around 1pm for you Southern puffs) the first day. The 4 group system ran and felt fine and I didn't feel like I wanted to ride anymore anyway due to the heat.
The NL 2.5 day washout trip in 2016 was booked through NL but again ran by another 3rd party, this time it was bikerdays, running of the trip was the same as the FE trip, so no difference apart from the time of year and weather conditions.
I get no money off or special treatment from either FE or NL for loyalty so bks to both of them, I'll book whatever through whoever which suits my needs.
Saying that the owner of FE is indeed a dick-wad where the owner of NL isn't.

I'd agree there about KH. Although he has been what seems to be a new man in recent months when I've come across him (I still don't trust him)I've been quite against FE in recent year's, but I've done a few UK days with them this year and they've been really well run, and the guys that run it from the UK side are super helpful and friendly. A stark contrast to FE of old
Plus, they're easily the cheapest out the lot and where a lot of people have grown to hate them, the numbers on track have been really low

Old exhaust off. Surprised how light it was and that it was straight through
Weight so the Yoshi literature states is 3.8kg vs 2.5kg on the Ti Yoshi fitted...just means I can hold that poo in before I go on track now
Ordered the Brembo RCS19 Master, ABS blank plate, hel front lines, racing fluid, GB Racing crach bungs and just like that I'd done a grand...
Will get MCT to do the boingers in February (all booked in) but holding off for a bit on fairings until probably April time

The OEM is titanium hence light and the majority of weight is in the downpipe anyway where the CAT is ... even with the OEM pipe they sound great. I just couldn’t live with how it looked hence changed it! Weight so the Yoshi literature states is 3.8kg vs 2.5kg on the Ti Yoshi fitted...just means I can hold that poo in before I go on track now

I got told to run the bike in before setting up the suspension.
Just ticked past 2000 miles on mine ... I’ll be using it tomorrow then will come off the road for a good clean before putting it away as the roads will be gritted again from tomorrow night.
