A few pics from Cartagena last week taken between me either stting myself, puking or on the toilet with food poisoning
4 weeks until I'm there. If I could afford it, I was considering instruction with Gino Rea, but it's a hell of a lot of money.
Try Gary Walton of NSF, or Dean Ellison

Based on feedback from someone on an NG test day who had him, I wouldn’t waste your money. If you want a days tuition I couldn’t recommend Mike Edwards enough, he was brilliant when I had a day with him. I’m going to do another one next year If I could afford it, I was considering instruction with Gino Rea, but it's a hell of a lot of money.

I think if you want him for a full day just to yourself, it's £800 !
I've heard good things about Mike Edwards, but not used him myself. I have had days with Crafar, Dean Ellison and Gary Walton though, and found Dean and Gary to both be superb.
I, personally, got very little from the Crafar day I did a couple of winters back and it was really expensive too (Something like £500 for the day, and you only get him every other session, and a 5min debrief) - He was impressive though, and when he demonstrates engine braking, he goes into the corner on full lean with his knee on the floor, and both hands above is head
Have tried many big name instructors. All of them were much less impressive then Mike Dickinson and Mike Edwards.
Mike D is great if you want to do a day in Spain, Mike E is good for Uk days. Both are brilliant trainers. They explain everything in as much detail as you need.
The big name race instructors tended to be just follow me, brake later, more gas etc as Graeme says. I also was disappointed with Crafar. I really liked him as a person, and There were some good points, but on the whole it just felt very expensive for half the tuition i’d Have gotten from the two Mikes

A couple of other coaches well worth looking at are Chris Butcher at www.hpc.bike or Simon Banting, you'll find him all over the NL pages.

To be honest, I've considered all those mentioned above.
Just saw Gino might have been out in Cartagena when I'm there so would tie in nicely.
But I'll look at someone else later in the year I reckon.
Am currently mid WhatsApp convo with Chris at HPC, he is on the Cartegena 14th-16th Jan NL trip if thats the one you are one, ping him and tell him Dibble sent you ....Just saw Gino might have been out in Cartagena when I'm there so would tie in nicely.
But I'll look at someone else later in the year I reckon.

Key thing is, can he teach/instruct? Being good at your game doesn't always make you a good coach. Do you have any feedback from anyone who has used him, otherwise it may be an expensive experiment! Good luck.Just saw Gino might have been out in Cartagena when I'm there so would tie in nicely.
