Any footage from Oulton?

Remind me what its like! I seem to remember enjoying the hairpin and little chicane bit. Long time a go though.
It goes right, left, left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right, left, left, right, right, left, hope that helps. biggrin

Unfortunately not from me. I had a wardrobe malfunction leaving work and getting picked up for a very late night drive there night before. I left all my clothes, trainers and gopro in my car so got to track in a work suit and had to borrow friends clothing. Wearing size 8 trainers when Im a 10 was painful...so no I didnt get any video haha

Finally got my pics from oulton on 5th. Cracking track but was all in the wet. Couldn't remember it all but felt pretty good towards the end

It's actually really grippy I found in the wet. Definitely want to go back in the dry but it's a pig of a drive for me

I'm also proving here you can still get your knee down with long enough knee sliders basically bolt upright laugh

I've only been there once, for racing, and it was nigh on torrential, but yeah, seriously grippy track. And what a rollercoaster it is too!

Can be frustrating. I personally like the wet - its the poxy faffing changing wheels I cant stand. Stay wet or stay dry

I didn't used to mind the wet and I used to go quite well but not now, it has to be dry or thats it, I'm heading home.

Had a good day at Brands Hatch on Thursday. It stayed dry and I got 5 sessions in. I'm starting to feel a bit more at home on the bike now, although I missed the last 2 sessions as I was starting to feel quite tired (2 weeks solid at work)

The CBR400 does look quite small in the photos, I'm only 5ft11 biggrin

Cadwell next on 8th June. Need to get some more booked up!

Any thoughts on Almeria vs Andelucia?

I want to get a winter trip booked up and have had Almeria cancelled twice this year.

I was all set to just rebook Almeria but have started looking at Andelucia now..!

Is anyone else having trouble with the Silverstone website?

When trying to book, the dates aren't appearing on the drop down list.

Don't ever go to Jerez or Aragon then, you'll be ruined for life ;-)

I do like the look of Aragon alright... Its definitely on the to do list next year.

I think I'll rebook Almeria, I have no doubt there are better tracks out there but its a convenient winter winter getaway...!

Just a shame about Cartagena...the local council/government want to shut it down. It's a great track that's been used by BSB and many others for years.

A question if I may - my R1 (above) has a micron full system and no provision for baffles.

How do you accurately test the dB without taking it to a track?
I know that's the preferred method but it'd be a minimum of a 2hr round trip to the nearest track and it means loading the bike in a van to do so.
Also I know that phone apps are not a reliable test so what's the best solution?

Is it hope for the best?

Limit for the day is 98dB and its a Donnington day through Bennetts if that is likely to make any difference

Cheers in advance beer
