Great, hopefully see you there.
That was a very enjoyable morning.
How did you get on this afternoon?
Did you find the other chap from on here?
Only did one session after lunch which was good, session six it started to rain and then I went home.
New sensor delivered and fitted so I think the bike is sorted...I'll test ride it later.

Evening guys sorry I didn’t get in touch prior to the event, unfortunately a work commitment was dropped on me and I wasn’t able to attend.Only did one session after lunch which was good, session six it started to rain and then I went home.

Hope you guys had a great time?
Usually free for a local ride out from Bedford if any of you fancy.
Booked for Silverstone (Ducati day) in June if anyone else is?
Dragged my Hornet down to Sydney back on Anzac Day and did my first trackday since 2010. No hiding your lack of body positioning from the camera! Definitely felt like I was hanging off a lot further.
I did quite like this shot though:
I think I saw about 220kph (about 135mph) on the clocks before my helmet started strangling me. Definitely got the bug again, just need to get the rear suspension sorted. It's got a good Wilbers shock in it but the previous owner is much skinnier than me so needs stiffening up. There's a mark in the hugger/chain guard where the muffler bracket was touching.

I'm not local to Bedford...about a 90 minute ride to get there for the track day.

Great day at Silverstone yesterday, weather was good and novice pace was fast enough.
I had a great day up until halfway through the last session. Managed to low side it on the right turn on to the back straight. What a tt.I'd been working on my body position all day. Actually got my knee down for the 1st time two corners before. Must have been feeling myself a bit too much after that!!
Prior to that I'd been dragging my toes rather than my knees. Clearly wasn't hanging off enough.
Bikes a bit of a mess but I got away with just a wounded pride. Fortunately I'd made friends with another bloke from Reading. He put my bike on his trailer and I rode his ZX9 home. Absolute gent.
