Great day out sharing old tales.
I went with them to Oulton park in 82 for the transatlantic races.The one on the LC had a cbx with a Marshall 6 into 1 at the time.
We went to a nearby pub where he was pulling monster wheelies,it was a dark and everytime he put it down the pipe grounded out in a flurry of sparks. It was mega,some angel types who were watching kept buying him drinks to do it again

Cool I'll keep an eye out bike looks nice and easy to spot too! Yeah he's a cheat ! because he was in stocks and won stock 600's good few years back made the wrong choices after tho with rides! He's back in it because his Mrs dad Phil bevan always used to win it. I done street stocks with ng and starts were a nightmare, too worried about keeping clean my second round at mallory 1st lap 2nd corner I hit someone at the chicane as I started way back I went flying he stayed on! still a fair bit off where I want to be laptime wiseI was going to do Wirral 100 but don't think I can get the time off work to do the test day so will give it a miss

thanks it's not actually my colours, it's my mates old bike I've just not got round to having them resprayed yet as I left the bike in Spain over the winter.
