Looks great Tom, -1 on the front sprocket is a usual mod for these, livens them up nicely SAS Tom said:
New bike day!
Had a good run back from Crewe, it's hard work at slow speed but get it going and it's so easy! Needs a good clean then a lot of riding!
You swapped the VFR750 for that!?!?!! Hell of a deal!!Had a good run back from Crewe, it's hard work at slow speed but get it going and it's so easy! Needs a good clean then a lot of riding!
Today I had a 145 mile run out round Essex, completely fallen for the Tuono
It ran like a dream and the torque pulling you out the corners is sublime. Although I've yet to lift the front wheel apart from one time last summer, in 1st gear, pulling onto a main A road. It quickly went down again! Still not had a 2nd gear power wheelie/front wheel skipping the tarmac, obviously need to use more throttle!

Sportsbike after sportsbike (and superbike after superbike) in 'fun' locations. Time for a change?
I went down to my mum and dad's on Sunday armed with cleaner, a few cloths and some flowers. Took the bike as being a lazy sod if I took the car I'd have to walk down to 'their place', but I could ride the bike right up. Some of the neighbours' visitors started snapping pix of the bike so I though I'd better take a few too.
In the 70s/80s when I had my Z900 and then Z1R my dad had a Z650, which he then downgraded to a Z400 as he got older (but jeez, probably younger than I am now!). But I always got tales of his army days and how he loved the Americans' Indians; he always wanted an Indian!
Then I popped round to my gran and grandads'. He was an Ariel man in his youth, and even in his 80s not averse to hopping on the back of my bike (uninvited and without helmet) and insisting I gave him a ride round the block.
And then a wee jaunt down to North Berwick...where the sun disappeared when I got there.
...and that was my Sunday.

Great piccy considering its snapshot of your video. Fingers crossed on some dry weather for you, but even in the wet it looks like a great trip.Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
