Decided tonight after doing a 220 mile round trip to pickup my bike after a warranty repair to get my lights working the same as some of the other country models... Must say I'm bloody impressed with my bike dealer. Stayed open late as traffic meant I got there after 6pm, they waited in the pissin rain, cleaned my bike and did a full check over. I know where I'll be buying my next bike from

Anyways...

Bike stripped and my OCD kicking in!

Got the centre high beam led to go in tomorrow too and then get it all back together

Also finished my gsxr track bike. Had a few gremlins I needed to fix - which is all done barring checking the relay for the rad fans... I got a feeling they ain't kicking in

On mine all 3 are H7 halogen with a LED daytime light in the middle too

I've changed the outside to a particular LED H7 which I was recommended ams found them excellent

Now changing the centre one to LED and getting all 3 to run on full beam only. It's meant to really improve the lighting

At the moment you either get width but can't see far ahead of distance but really narrow having only a h7 single full beam on

Col d'Allos was 'fermée' when we went and the surface was definitely in need of help in areas. The Col towards the ski resort was smoother though - the challenge at this time of year is there was lots of loose gravel left behind from the snowmelt, and a couple of butt clenching moments especially when there was often no armco!

A few more of the Col d'Allos:

Also see you do the 'ring and used the same Harry App as me. I think I commented on it before but forgot until you put the popcorn omoji's on my Nurburgring thread the other week and I remembered 'spareparts'

Sorry, it wasn't me who put the popcorn emoji.

The GS is a great tool for long distance, touring, and just having fun. It only pulls about 100rwhp in standard form and is not going to be as fast as a RSV4Tuono on track or at the Ring.

Happy to help! hehe
You've done plenty of touring in your time - get some wheels and get out there again! It's cathartic and therapy smile

Throwback to my part of my tour around Ireland in August of last year, fabulous place and I'm getting itchy to go for another big jolly somewhere soon!

I really haven't ridden much this year at all frown

Speaking of which, anyone want to buy a KTM adventure so I can get the next couple of bikes on my hit list? hehe

No worries. ChipChap is a good guy, and he means no harm... he's an old ex-racer who's won lots of tinware, and he's still wondering how all these young whipper snappers are getting to be as fast as him hehe

I commend you on taking the V4Tuono long distance - we've taken the superbikes all around Europe before, and it was just mega. Had to repeat the same routes on the tourers the following year to go back and see the scenery lol

Wow there some bikes right there! I found my Tuono ok with Germany and I did a fair old amount of miles. I think 1300 in 3 days. Its a bit annoying anything above 95ish though with the buffeting

And didnt know he used to race - I see why now. I'll give him some slack as I did too and if he had an ACU he'll know my old 5 digit number shows when I got mine compared to most high 6 digit now! He'll come back with a 4 digit 1980's special Im sure haha

Poor picture but the brightness and setup now is perfect

And before anyone says... No there isn't glare but the photo isn't great
