I'm sure I must have the only gen 2 tuono in existance with a working rear brake with the standard mount reservoir ??
I do need to get an uprated clutch slave for mine though as my clutch fluid only lasts about 1000 miles before turning black, I'm bored of changing the fluid that often!
Mine works fine too, at least it did until this week, not so sure now. I was thinking of a new clutch slave cylinder also, my clutch is really heavy and getting the bike into neutral is a pain.I do need to get an uprated clutch slave for mine though as my clutch fluid only lasts about 1000 miles before turning black, I'm bored of changing the fluid that often!
Those rear sets look ace, where are they from?
The main reason for getting those rearsets is that they re-locate the brake master cylinder away from the engine and puts it vertical, the 2 reasons why the rear brake is so poor is becuase the m/c is horizontal and right under the engine.

To justify the cost I'm sure the nice young lady cuts my few remaining hairs one at a time. But as she's very pretty and smells delightful I don't really care podman said:
Sounds a very pleasant 30 mins....where abouts do you go?
I made the mistake of getting my hair cut once when I'd rode into town wearing my old helmet. I get short back and sides, first with no guard on the clippers and finally buzzed over with a beard trimmer for a 'down to the wood' finish. The resultant detritus filled the inner lining of my lid with short, prickly hairs that took ages to get out, and that was after the barber washed my head to get rid of most of the clippings. podman said:
Out for an hour or so on the 500 earlier, I should have bought one of these before I had that vasectomy...nuts and under carriage thoroughly roasted..
Beautiful bike , I have forgotten how they ride after all these years, will it lift the front in 1st and 2nd or is it a linear power band . My aprilia rs 250 although running spot on has no hope in hell of lifting the front in 1st let alone 2nd, it will however give a massive head shake up hill on a bend with a bumpy road on full chat.I remember my old rd 350 ypvs mk 1 and even my 125 lc would lift, god help you with a pillion but I guess that was down to the upright riding position.
Weather was too nice for sitting in an office, so had a pootle on this fella! I can see why people like the engine so much, and it's a bit schizophrenic - take it easy and everything's quiet and sensible, but wind on the throttle and it roars!
Didn't leave me with an inane grin like the MT10 did, but maybe my license might last a bit longer....

whoah, is that the last ZL1000 in existence?
It is a 900 i think, goes OK although the handling and braking is very suspect.Sounded a bit worse for wear when the old kill switch off, handful of gas, kill switch on trick was deployed down a steep hill. Noise was incredible like you were stood right next to a shotgun going off. Unfortunately the vintage exhaust took um-bridge to the treatment and deposited a chunk of itself onto the road. Still it continued to run perfectly fine even if sounding a little worse for wear for the rest of the trip.
