Just loads of this all over him. 2pc Alpinestars leathers but it ripped and tore in places

He'll live and kicking himself for a silly error

Glad he's OK and it's horrible to see a man down, how did it happen?

Is it?
I've been involved in a good few crashes and have always been thankful that the leathers have taken the brunt, regardless of tearing. I have only drawn blood once, when I highsided in front of a bike and the ground down lever pierced the leather and my arm. My last crash resulted in 7 holes in the almost new leathers. Tarmac is abrasive, even to leather

I landed heavily on my left side and it tore mine at the seam resulting in a nice scar down my forearm, it happens.

We rode from Rayleigh to Finch then a little further to a village called 'clare' some of the best evening riding we've done in a while. No traffic, warm... Just a good 100 miles of riding

After we picked up some brands tickets we rode to an area that is out the way and people can be a bit more enthusiastic. He came into a roundabout too hot and locked the rear. To make it worse he broke his rear abs sensor only the week before from the paddock stand and had it on back order

It was completely his error and he's proper kicking himself but as it locked he let go of the brake and it threw him off basically. I got a few pics but I'm at brands so I'll put up later

The worst bit is (and I never ever complain) the ambulance was called at 10.18 police were there by 11 and gone by 12. Ambulance were called by them again just before they left with a reference number. I then called again at 1, 1.45, 2.30 and we then got a mate to come over in his 4x4 lifted him into the car (you can imagine he was sore) and drove him to hospital. Ambulance never turned up, a lady called apologising profusely and saying they had made a few small errors plus they were busy with life threatening and that it would be escalated to a supervisor

I can I guess kinda get that. But my mate wasn't good and lay there for over 4 hours. I know they are busy, under resourced and what not but we had to get a blanket and tops as a pillow and he was in agony. Guess that's the country we live in

On a plus this morning after having about 2 hours sleep we rode to margate for a nice breakfast

Briefly rode past oakdene and now at Brands. My mates second race first season and got a 7th. Hoping to be 4-5th going on his times, he's just not brave on the tight passing

Where you out on the A272 on Saturday afternoon Ade?
I was coming into Midhurst from Petworth on my 1198s and potentially saw you heading out the other way
