If you leave it last minute yes, far cheaper if you get them in advance.
Just get next years tickets now, £100 for the whole weekend in a grandstand
Yeah we didn't have the luxury of knowing if we could make it this year though unfortunately. We're looking into the weekend camping option now for next year as it looks like it could be a good weekend and would make a change from our annual trip to Le Mans.Just get next years tickets now, £100 for the whole weekend in a grandstand

Dry setup bike but on wets. He couldn't ride it properly with such a setup and understandably stopped.
If that was the case then he'd have been black flagged straight away. He has to go out on different tyres of changing bikes. I thought he went out on slicks too, but it wasn't as a gamble it was because it was his only option to avoid a black flag.

I thought so too but I'm pretty sure that's what the commentators said.I thought he went out on slicks too, but it wasn't as a gamble it was because it was his only option to avoid a black flag.

On another note, as much as I like the Eurosport team it is annoying me how frequently they miss a pass down the inside on one corner, and then make out it was an outside pass on the next. When what really is happening is the rider who was just passed is trying to fight back on the inside!
Unsure how the ticket prices are generated but back in early July I paid £79.00/each for the 3 day pass complete with seating at Luffield.
Shame race day tickets are so expensive, as surely must discourage some people - include myself at that price.
Race day was great but Saturday's qualifying was a joy given the weather and the lap times.

Me and my brother went down Sat night then along to the circuit Sunday, just for race day. Pre-booked Becketts but a late booking so paid £120 each including the parking. (£20 to park in a field!)
Had a great day though. Cal got a standing ovation when he slid of the 2nd bike right in front of us. I must admit I've really gone off him the last couple of years but I did feel for him on Sunday. If he didn't have bad luck he'd have no luck.
Would have liked to see a Rossi-Marquez scrap rather then Marquez just fall off, but on the other hand Marquez would have only pushed too hard and skittled Rossi off probably.
Yes it's expensive for what it is, but it is a great day out. Dying to do a foreign one in the future but that's more money again, although Assen looks doable on a sensible budget.
I must admit though I did see first hand the Rossi-Fanboy-isms. The commentators were introducing the grid and they said "Any Marc Marquez fans here?" and a member of the stag party behind us said "Not in this f***ing grand stand there isn't". Then when Marquez fell off they all cheered.
I am an unashamed Rossi fan but can't be arsed with that crap. It takes more than Rossi to make a GP grid so why the hostility toward anyone that isn't Rossi. Apart from that side of it, as said, we had a great time. Food wasn't too expensive either. £10 for a Dominos Pizza and a drink.
PS We travelled down from Northumberland, so with Travel Inn, fuel, evening meal and drinks it's easily a £250 per head weekend. Worth it though.... I think.

Oh definitely! Like I say I'm a huge fan. He entered the top class when I was first getting into biking. Have loved his duels with all of his rivals over the years Biaggi, Gibernau, Haydon, Stoner, etc, etc. and it is awesome when you hear the whole circuit cheer. I've never been to a football match but can now understand why people say the experience is great. I just don't want the football style yobbish-ness crossing over. Although as any racer or event gets big (Le mans is a great example), you get some knobs joining the party.
One of the main reasons we went is that I've always told my bro we'd have to see Rossi race live while he still was. We've done that and he won too, so we are happy chaps.
