Incredible. I remember seeing your bike on bikeexif and thinking it looked amazing.

Can you give a bit more detail on how you came to own it - did you just approach them and ask if it was for sale? It is a proper one-off job or will they be making others?

I was following their Facebook page after I saw the bike and just noticed one day him mention on one of the pics it would going up for sale... dropped him an email, got chatting... the deal was done... he very kindly also gave me a binder with press mentions etc etc... and a signed Wall Print smile He looked so excited yesterday when he dropped it off (can't thank him enough for coming over specially to drop it off), was so keen to see me hop on and ride it... genuine enthusiast and really nice guy.

Oh and its proper one off... he's been asked to make kits, but that frame with the integrated LED lights is almost impossible to productionize, its a big job when you look thru the pictures of its build

I've got to ask, what sort of price tag does something so one off command?

More than you want to pay, but probably less than you imagine wink

How much hassle was sorting out insurance? I fancy doing exactly what you have done with a couple of customs in the future but I understand day to day things like finances and servicing can be a bit tricky.

Well I'm quite lucky in that mine is running a relatively stock Ducati Scrambler engine, so I just pop it to a dealer... Insurance, there are specialists who can hook you up... you don't use these kind of bikes every day, so you can manage the costs down by being realistic about when and how you will use them.

Magnificent. Really well done, not overcooked. Some great examples in this thread.

Wow wasn't expecting this when I clicked on the thread. Very, very nice! I've been toying with doing more to my Bonneville but its nice to see another bike out there that can be modified in so many cool ways.
