Bike Parking Mayfair
Discussion
I've got to go up to Mayfair for a spot of lunch tomorrow and will probably take the bike.
Any suggestions on where's best to park, preferably free? I'll be heading up around lunch time so I suspect I won't get the spaces in the free bike bays - I understand these fill up quite quickly!

There is bugger all around Mayfair, in general.
Try around Berkeley Square but your best bet is to find a piece of spare ground up on the pathway where you wont restrict pedestrians and get creative. You cant get a ticket if you're not on the road, y'see.
Also, don't just chain your bike, chain it to something. Something solid.
Good luck.

There's also an NCP on the Bond St side of Berkeley square that seems secure. I would however still look to chain your bike to something once it's in there. I used to chain mine to a lamp-post in the bike parking area in then square itself, you just have to be aware of fvckwit moped rider parking.

I can deal with the quid.
Pain in the arse having to lug the chain up with me however...that is if I can even find the bloody key!
If you haven't already, sign up with their Parking service beforehand. Let's you enter bike and Card details so the process is much easier when you get into town. Just a quick phone call once there.Pain in the arse having to lug the chain up with me however...that is if I can even find the bloody key!
