Otherwise my commuting has been easy and totally drama free, only thanks go to the PCSO that gave me a slow down wave near Catford bus garage, turned the corner to find at trafpol boys with a radar gun and a large number of pulled over cars - didn't expect that one!
They are often there they also tend to sit outside London South East college heading from Bromley bus garage towards Bromley itself as its a nice longish slight left which must catch a lot of people

Indeed, seen them outside Bromley college plenty before, never when it's actually open though.....

Slight change of commute for me today, in as normal but going to try and leave at a good time, off to Andover (out on the M3 then back round the M25 to Beckenham) to go and view a new car! #excited!

Horrendous traffic all the way in. Left late so was minging on the M4 from Swindon to Reading. Reading to Heston was fine and then it was carnage again into the city frown

This.

M6 was stationary from Walsall to Birmingham and ended up at the back of a queue of 6 bikes following a 5mph wobbler who simply refused to let anyone past him. Had to jump over to between lane 1&2 to get past the line before moving back.

Didn't miss them today.. thats the only positive of the tube.
Have you noticed the cocky/pushy wobblers? You know the ones that can't filter but seem to believe they are really really good and just keep getting in your way?
I seem to see those all the time - they just don't/won't realise how rubbish they are - they tend to ride larger bikes and they are really good at thrashing it really really fast in the open bits but fall to pieces when the need to filter/plan ahead to make progress next happens.

Pulled up at home...what's that little oil puddle on the garage floor....

Check oil level - none

Look for leak...there it is, coming though a crack in the scuffed metal!

New one on order and oil now firmly in my backpack in case of top up, off to Aldershot direct from the City tomorrow to check out a potential Exige purchase.[url]
Be careful next time you ride home. I've heard some twunt has dropped oil for the entire length of your commute!!

wink

Hahaha, not much being dropped thankfully, carrying oil with me and check the level before each journey, new part should be on this weekend....

Separately Andover is a trek, when being used to 30 minute/10 mile rides, doing 170 miles in one evening isn't the most comfortable, walking like Elton John now!

Separately the Exige I was off to view was mint and will (pending ISA withdrawls) shortly be mine smile

Exactly the problem that I had on my way home yesterday.

A tt on a big silver touring bike just had to get past me as the A41 goes from Finchley Rd to Hendon Way, then stopped at the gap between lanes 2 & 3, unable to proceed any further.

It wouldn't have been so bad but he knew I was quicker though traffic and that he couldn't progress, yet still rode right up to the gap so I couldn't pass.

I nipped past between 1 & 2, so no big delay.

Another who should leave the bike and attitude at home.

Haha I had this yesterday.

Some dick in a 3 piece suit on a 3 wheeler blocking the filter route coming up to Knightsbridge after the underpass from Piccadilly so I zipped up between 1&2, he shouted "fking tt" at the top of his voice. Awkwardness ensued at the lights where I sat there chuckling at how annoyed and red faced he was as he refused to look over at my body jumbling around in laughter. What a st life he must have laugh

These people who can't filter are everywhere.

Yesterday coming out of the Blackwall, there was a queue of about 10 bikes all behind someone who couldn't/wouldn't filter or move. As we carried on, some of the bikes turned off, or got past, until I ended up behind him.

He was on a brand new MT09, and rather touchingly, his Adidas trainers exactly matched the fetching shade of blue on his tank rolleyes Anyway, he parked his front wheel between two cars and just wouldn't move. In the end I showed him a wheel hehe a couple of times, and eventually he moved over. Afraid to say he got the Capfinger wagged at him, which seemed to both infuriate him and to energise him. Suddenly, he glued himself to my back wheel and obviously decided that if I could drag an RT through those gaps, he could get through too. He then proceeded to tag me all the way until I turned off.

Nob!

I know it's wrong but filtering past all those poor drivers caught up in the M20 closure this morning for mile after mile bought a smile to my face.

Also stopped and helped a Spanish couple on a BM touring thing as they were completely lost. They were trying to find Yeovil tongue out
