“Been 20 mph for 3 years sir”

Which is all true and hands up

But if you want to get into clear space and ahead of idiots off the lights, so as to avoid getting knocked off, is q hard to do without momentarily breaking 20...

Did not see any police near the west end this morning. I like not having to come all the way into the city.

It's how you fix the bike theft problem isn't it. Cause such bad feeling by targeting them.

It’s been a bad week for me. First off I think I may have been caught turning right on a no right turn junction, ( at Tredegar rd and coboen road ) I was a bit hacked off with the traffic and road works and thought where’s the harm the roads clear. Half way through the turn I apottedthe sign saying there was a camera in place. What can I expect in terms of fines and any points?

Then to top that my givi phone holder jumped off its handlebar fitting two miles down the road Home and was smashed to bits before I could get back to recover it. I’d only had the phone 2 months although at least it was payg and reconditioned. Still lots of £’s down the pan this week.

Had a little run in with 2 little pr**ks on scooters last night from the A2 Kidbrooke turn off up to Five Ways on the A20 - was at the lights & they pulled up behind me, after a short while I realized 1 of them was shouting at me, turned round & he was telling me to move forward so moved forward and over to see what the problem was & he pulled up shouting at me in my face that he shouldn't have to tell me 3 times to move forward etc etc - told him I had ear plugs in & didn't hear him etc, lights went green then he cut across me to block me, kick me etc etc - basically bloke was a pr*ck on some battered 06 plate red Gillera or something, probably on a false plate as he came past me well over the speed limit through a camera giving me 1 of them gay gansgta finger signs.

I've seen no-number plate scooters round Kidbrooke before, generally massively taking the piss and trying to carve you up. Need to be alert!

I thought it was a fine unless you went through a red light,]

I got fined for doing something similar coming down a one way street the wrong way.

Yesterday there was a crash on the M4 which required the air ambulance. A lot of bikers waiting at the head of the queue of traffic, was almost a mini drag race once the police let us all go.

This morning, there is a guy on an R1 with a Marquez helmet whom I sometimes see commuting into London and he was there today. He was ahead of me and a van changed lanes towards him, he was not a happy bunny. He was shouting and waving at the van, they both stopped and I thought it was going to get to a punch up, but then the van driver decided to drive off, he tries to bash the vans wing mirror but missed and then loses him in the traffic ahead, so a far more interesting commute than normal.

Was that the evening one on the eastbound carriageway ? I saw that heading west at about 6.20pm, they had 1 lane open going eastbound, then about 2 miles further west some idiot in a Cayenne had managed to thump a small truck pretty hard in the rear so another 2 lanes shut eastbound ..... made me happier about the wet ....

Today was grim with the rain but I made it to the new office with just one wrong turn, now need to work out how the f*** i get back on the A40 out of town from here ....... last night went right round all the houses ....

I saw both of those as well. People slowing on the west bound carriageway for a good stare. One guy was on the phone literally stopped in the outside lane having a nosey.

Yes, I was heading Westbound about 5:30pm, was a bit odd zooming along an empty motorway apart from a few other bikers once they let us go.

First commute on the bike for a very long time. Combination of catching the train to London and then having a 1 mile commute and a fair dollop of apathy meant a pathetic number of miles on the bike. New commute is perfect for using the bike.

Huge fun this morning. Happy days.

The comparitively warmer weather has brought more powered two wheeled commuters out I've noticed this week.. but with it a whole host of wobblers making their first tentative steps it seems this year. Coming past tower of london to hung drawn and quartered pub I had two lanes full of mobile road blocks this morning. You have a nice right and left bend (for london) and after the pelican it drops downhill slightly to lower thames street and usually two virtually empty lanes heading westbound. My passes wern't of the Marquez Arg GP order but had to be slightly more aggressive/close than usual to clear them all as none were looking in their mirrors/moving over.

Some dhead on one of those hateful 3 wheel scooter things beeping his horn at me furiously because I wouldn't move forwards into the hatched yellow box when I had no clear exit.. heading towards Tower Bridge direction outside Metropolis Motorcycles..
