Great ride into Bristol today, the highlight being next to a taxi driver who was watching pornhub (or similar) on his phone, and blasting the soundbomb to let him know he wasn't being subtle about it.
I tend to find getting my c**k out and masturbating furiously next to them gets their attention.

Can mirror the experience of everyone recently, generally really poor driving and rampant use of phones by at least 1/3 of drivers.

Nearly ran a woman over yesterday who ran across a 4 lane road, I was in the (permitted) bus lane pootling along at about 25 when suddenly there's someone in front of me, she'd jumped out from behind a lorry so had no chance of seeing her in advance. Pot luck we didn't collide as I yanked the brake but didn't stop in time, thankfully she was about one stride ahead of me at the point I came to a stop.

My highlight today was almost dropping the bike on the M25/M20 junction roundabout.

The culprit was a banana! Put my foot down at the red light and it slid away from me, just managed to regain grip before going down.

Looked down expecting a patch of oil but instead it was a very squashed banana under my foot!

Glossing over the impossibility of getting bloody fuel at the moment I have to rant about something else....

To the Harley rider with massive ape hangers sporting a 'HOG 1066' chapter patch on the A2 this afternoon - if you cannot filter faster than 15mph and have a queue of 8 or 9 bikes behind you, MOVE THE FfuriousfuriousK OVER! - It is idiots like you who give HD riders a terrible name. It was embarrassing simply riding near you for fear of others thinking I was riding with you!

To everyone else: we are not all like that chobber, I promise! rofl

This never ceases to amaze me. Usually done by the Ewan McGregor wannabes on a GS with a full pannier set up. Surely they are aware of what they're doing. They really can't be that thick and if they're not why are they such tts.

My highlight was getting off my Peloton going into the office for the first time in 18 months during rush hour.

Took my time and passed loads of gaps I know 2 years ago I wouldnt have thought twice about going for. Going to take some time to get my confidence back to pre covid filtering! In the meantime I'll crack on and get out of they way.

I got blown off my GS there last Jan in those horrendous winds. Was sitting waiting the lights to change, huge gust, I topple off and roll away. GS unharmed and one broken elbow for me!

Second day in row one hour delays on the motorway -so everything as it was pre-covid

yesterday someone burnt potato waffles at Junc 21 M6 – to the wally on the Goldwing – just move over don’t try and block, you aren’t filtering on that thing so why sit between the traffic blocking the way?

some fat git decided to slew his lorry across a lane and then get out and start cleaning his windows with a squeegee why??

Today M1 to junc 15 so got off onto A5 at the Lidl development with the rest of the world and made a way along the A5

Saw a petrol queue in Harrow, thought that was all over there’s plenty up here, like it never happened.

Still massive shortages down here. Most of the petrol stations I passed today were either shut or has only one or two diesel pumps operating. fking farcical.

I ride up to the Smoke a couple of times a year, normally on a sunny Sunday morning, to see the sights, including a ride down the Mall. A22/23. The cameras, as you point out, are bloody everywhere, as soon as you come off the Caterham bypass! Makes for a slow ride, but at least the bus lanes are generally available....

Indeed, that definitely helps, do miss the ability to make progress that the OKR afforded though!

Enjoyed a gloriously sunny ride home, but decided it was time and put the lining back in my textile jacket and trousers.

I'm on a 1400-0200 shift today so my ride in was in said sunshine. I've recently purchased a cheap, Chinese bluetooth headset which I fitted to my lid today. Then, after I tested it and found the volume way too low, I pulled the lining back a bit to reveal two depressions in the polystyrene which are a) actually close to my ears and b) designed into the lid for the exact purpose! Grrr! Now I need some more stick on velcro!

I specifically got a helmet with pockets for speakers this time. Never bothered with the velcro though, they stay in place on there own.

bloody hell today was a bit sharp 0 on the temp gauge, not got above 6 all day

everything's coated in that horrible grey/black film that you can never wipe off your visor, coupled with the height of the sun for the first few hours its been a bugger

Felt cold today, thermal liner definitely needs to go back in.

Monday was COLD - first time I've ever had to break out the space heater to defrost everything so it starts on an EFI bike!
Much better today but LOTS of cars still fannying about at 55-60mph on the motorway for no reason - no ice, wind, or rain - just dark as is usual for it being nearly December!

Noticeably fewer bikes out and about now, although I did see a rather nice Goldwing (in goldy brown) on Westmisnter bridge today which tickled me for some reason.

Traffic was disgusting this evening, took me 5 mins just to get out of Mayfair.
