Very very very very very very nice mate. Can't wait for a shot, when you planning on getting out on it???
I miss riding my bike. Still haven't sorted the ste job situation yet but I'm itching to get out riding again when I do get a chance.

I have nothing planned yet, I'll get it run in then get it stripped down then see whats what.

What's their story by the way? Were these 2 for the French market but UK dealer snapped them up eventually?
I can't see these selling too well in France to be honest. Good thing the 106bhp law is over . You'd be miffed!
As far as I know all Yamaha bikes go to a central hub in France before being dispatched into other parts of Europe.I can't see these selling too well in France to be honest. Good thing the 106bhp law is over . You'd be miffed!
My bike and the other One were ordered from my local dealer in October so are UK bikes.

Awesome John - didn't realise you were waiting for an M model!
What's the deal with the brakes on these when tracking them? Do people still run the linked UBS ABS system or unplug the lot and put a set of lines from the master cylinder to the calipers in an old fashioned style? What do the Superstockers do - they can't just stick on Brembos top and bottom?
A couple of mates are taking the fuse out of the ABS as it cuts in way too early on track, there is a bit of wiring you can buy that knocks the ABS light off the dash. What's the deal with the brakes on these when tracking them? I don't know what I am going to do with the brakes yet, I may junk all the ABS system and run double lines on the front and a single rear. (that would be a winter job though)

Lovely bike, congrats mate, although I have to say you're a brave man using something that expensive as a track bike, enjoy it, and let's hear what it sounds like with the decat on it.
I have the de cat and pipe but I am not fitting the de cat until I do some foreign TD's. the bike will not pass any noise tests at UK tracks. 3DP said:

Yeah, that's true the noise limits on some days are really low, I can't see my RSV4 getting through with a full Akra system on it, but might give a baffle a try first rather than have to put the standard system back on.Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
