Ok, so he may have been shown quickly before the podium on an iPad a quick view of what happened... but to walk off the podium in protest of an event he wasn't even involved in? It was pathetic. The incident had nothing to do with him.

I take your point and agree to an extent but they are all professionals in the sense that most are right when things aren't right...

I just don't like the way he portrays himself and the lack of respect he shows to his team mate. I don't like the way he makes excuses rather than admitting the better man won today (regardless of who that man is).
Finally, I don't like the bullish comments made to Michelin when things aren't going right for him. Does he think that because he is world champion, he decides which tyres should be used and which should be re-called? From what he said in the post-race press conference, clearly he does.
Re 'lack of respect he shows to his team mate' neither you or I know what sort of games have been played out in the yamaha garage so perhaps rossi hasn't exactly shown lorenzo respect either.

Remember rossi does have quite the reputation for being your friend until you start beating him, then the real slightly less media rossi escapes from the cage.

The way Lorenzo reacted at Sepang was condemned
Wasn't that retracted by Hodgeson ?

If you genuinely believe he reacted in a good way then it just baffles me.
Still find it astounding that people are having a go at Lorenzo for his (supposed) behaviour at Sepang !!!
It's not like he kicked another rider off his bike !

Like insisting a wall is put up inside the garage ?

Or is he just telling the truth with having problems with his tyres and trying to get Michelin to do better ?

No , your speaking absolute rubbish.

How was Lorenzo not involved in the event when he finished 2nd?

If you were a manager and your rider didn't throw a paddy when missing out on qualifying you'd have to question how much they wanted it in the first place.

Lastly rossi doesn't need you valiantly fighting his corner online , there is no 'bestest' rossi fan t-shirt heading your way.
Well we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

The way Lorenzo reacted at Sepang was condemned by fans of the sport, not just fans of Rossi. If you genuinely believe he reacted in a good way then it just baffles me. He'd have been bigger than both of them (Rossi, Marquez) combined if he said nothing, went home and calmly arrived in Valencia. He'd have gained a few more fans too (which he so desperately craves).

Well Rossi, at 37 years of age, a multi-millionaire who has done everything and beyond for the sport doesn't have a paddy when missing out on a quali place, yet are you questioning how much he wants his 10th title? He's probably the most motivated on the grid, or one of.

It's a real shame about that t-shirt, I could do with another one.
And talking about being the bigger man, rossi could ask his legions of fans to stop booing marquez and lorenzo yet he doesn't?

Now please take your rossi posters off your wall and behave like a adult not some teenage girl gushing over which of Mcfly is the hottest.

Just watch the sport for the racing , who cares who wins or looses as long as it's close racing.

If you still genuinely think that Rossi kicked Marquez off his bike then I am just fighting a losing battle having any form of conversation with you.

Unfortunately not. There's plenty of other threads to read on PH if you don't like the content here.

What's the problem? I'm allowed to share my view just like the people who disagree with me are allowed to share theirs... My apologies if it's affecting you in some way.

I do. Why would I want Marquez to win after he chose not to win in Valencia when he had a bike more than capable of running away with victory?

Why would I want Lorenzo to win when he's a complete ahole, and for the reasons listed in my last 5 posts?

I want Rossi to win and only Rossi to win. The close, fair racing battles are a bonus.

I like other riders to do well, Vinales, Petrucci, the brits. But no, I want Rossi to win every single race.

I'm sorry if that's weird. I thought when you supported a rider that was normal?

Let's see if you can spot the irony in the post I've quoted below from a few minutes before.

I don't see any irony at all. He's entitled to his opinion on that matter. I'm saying that it's such a huge topic I'll just be fighting a losing battle and there's no point continuing the conversation on that specific topic with him because he's already made up his mind on what he thinks happened.

There's supporting a rider and then there's the blind worship that seems to go with rossi, he's like the man.u of bike racing , if you don't know anything about racing then support rossi because he's the most famous.

You and I are just punters , unless we're putting our hands in our pockets to sponsor a team or a rider we're nothing.

Just watch the race and enjoy it, rossi doesn't need you to fight his fights , he's being looking after himself quite nicely for years without your help.

You obviously don't watch every session. He's missed out on qualifying spots at the last minute and thrown his toys out. Something hasn't gone right in practice and he's thrown his toys out. He finished second in this very race and had a paddy in parc ferme instead of celebrating the important points for the championship like Marc did.

And best of all against your point, Sepang last year... he wasn't involved in the event, he didn't even see the event yet he got up on the podium and walked off in a strop because HIS TEAM MATE, not him, had a clash with another rider.

But of course, I'm chatting absolute rubbish.
..And gave Rossi the thumbs down, I was warming to Lorenzo until he did that. All year he had not done anything wrong and had a great season catching Rossi then passing him in the championship.

I don't dislike any of them to be honest, I just like Rossi best, then Marquez.

He'll be off to bed soon with his Lorenzo teddy.
