Carole Nash Bike Show - Launch of CCM Spitfire
Discussion
Do anybody else see the CCM stand with the Spitfire on it ?
Only 150 made with a 600 Hurqvana engine , they were offering a money back guarantee of you place a deposit £500 on a bike retailing at £7995 -

I was looking at either a Triumph Bobber or Scrambler, No dealer network and limited run could effect insurance?
Would be interesting to hear one running, apparently the one on show was already sold to James Blunt,
Thoughts opinions welcome

Love the look of it , shame it hasnt got a twin cylinder engine in it thou, an MT07(or even an 09) engine would look let alone perform even better in that chassis.
Can't have everything though, plus the single will keep the frame narrow and the weight down. 118kg apparently and 55hp so it should feel quick. Resurrection alert:
Well, notwithstanding the antis above (for reference, even my kids are too old to be hipsters, let alone me), I have just set eyes on an original CCM Spitfire in the metal for the first time and.......I want one. Badly. Badly enough to be thinking maybe I sell the Kettle to make funds and space. It's a cracking-looking thing, the pictures don't go even halfway to doing it credit.
Trouble is, they're long since sold out, and it looks like there is now a chunky premium on the original £9k on the used market.

Are they selling for a premium though?Well, notwithstanding the antis above (for reference, even my kids are too old to be hipsters, let alone me), I have just set eyes on an original CCM Spitfire in the metal for the first time and.......I want one. So the question may be - are there any for sale at all? None on Biketrader, none on MCN, none on PH.
There have been some private ads around for the original Spitfire, they were selling for a healthy premium !
As said worth asking factory if any available as some late cancellations inevitably occur of previously sold out models.
Got mine and loving it, I don't have a beard or tattoos, don't live in a trendy london suburb and just enjoy riding bikes

Order/Buy direct from the factory? Or enquire, they may know one /some for sale? Quite liking the Bobber myself. Dunno whether I'm brave enough to spunk £10 K on one though!
They only made a set number of each model which all then sold out quickly. I think they are stretching the concept a little now, which is not a good thing, but the original Spitfire is lovely.FocusRS3 said:
Love the look of these bikes but are they slightly underpowered or is that to miss the point ?
I ask genuinely as there are 1800cc Harley’s and no one does over 80mph
These are about 150Kgs, Harleys are about 350 kgs but will have a lot more torque from their boat anchor engine. I'd imagine the 600 cc single would be plenty willing enough to hoist you up to speed that befits its style.I ask genuinely as there are 1800cc Harley’s and no one does over 80mph
