I think what allows those dudes to maintain a very high pace is their observation skills, i.e. they are looking a l o n g way up the road, so can plan accordingly.

Of course ! I remember now ....
I keep finding my old box of about 6 pairs of half worn ( meaning absolutely loads useable left ) of these in the garage and putting it aside again.....
Must buy something they fit into nowadays .....!
