Forecast has ditched the heavy rain, now saying chances of light showers
Ditch the one you follow. The one I sent a link to has been saying light showers all week......if 0.5mm over a 3 hour period can be classed as a showerYou work in the Shetlands......a little rain shouldn't bother you

It's working
Went to pick up a set of scrubbed Pirelli slicks and scrubbed metzler wets tonight. The slicks had a bit of a chunk missing from the tread which may or may not have been ok, but I decided to give them a miss as couldn't really risk putting them on then finding out it gave a big vibration during my stint. The wets felt really hard compared to the Michelin wets I normally run, so I decided to gamble on the weather forecast and give them a miss too.
Which means I'll be running on some K2 metzler racetec RR's that I used at Spa last year. Better be bloody dry

How did everyone get on with testing yesterday????
Forecast looks like heavy rain Friday evening, but dry all day Saturday so might be a damp start in qually but should hopefully be dry for the race.
Gavia, Presumably if it's horsing it down with rain on Friday night , the track cycle will be getting abandoned?

Decent day yesterday. Not a single red flag in fast and I think I only saw a couple of yellows, so pretty good going considering there was lots of racers.Forecast looks like heavy rain Friday evening, but dry all day Saturday so might be a damp start in qually but should hopefully be dry for the race.

Didn't see any of the boys on track, but did pop down to their garage to say hi.
I should be up there for around 5 tonight
