The people require, may, DEMAND part 3. You have to now. It's the LAW.

Then you will be pleased to here I started writing the first paragraph tonight.

I deliberately made a rod for my own back so that I do finish it for everyone who is interested!

Cheers Graham!

It's much appreciated that people are reading it, and also enjoying reading it!

It takes a considerable amount of my free time that isn't spent working on or riding bikes hence it taking so long to get a post up

Update - Apologies it isn't part 4 in the series (if anyone here has actually read 1-3) but it is a promise that after a bit of a st 2018/2019 I'm promising to finish the story and post it here when it's done.

Progress on the story has been made and hoping to finish before the end of Jan. I'll update the OP with links to part 1-3 too for ease of use.

Cheers

You're not the only one biggrin I had to do it multiple times while writing too and I'm the one that did the bloody trip

Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. Onwards and upwards with next project.
Got some plans for the CG for some interesting videos as sadly the two times I took it Scotland I didn't think of doing any further write ups and wish I had now frown

Great to read the final write-up. It sounds like an epic trip although the last section sounds a little more challenging for some not so good reasons.

Glad you've finally finished the blog, a great write up and we've ridden a lot of the same roads over there, albeit I was aided by about 8 times the cubic capacity.
There's nothing better than just following your nose with no real plan set in place.
Funnily I remember being in Ulm several years ago, and thinking that Lake Constance looked nice, so headed that way and then saw Egg on the map. Seeing the name of the town I just had to go there! It just happened to be the day that all of the cattle in Austria are moved down from the alpine pastures into the valley, so there was loads of processions of cattle accompanied by the cowherd in lederhosen and the sound of cowbells, great to see but unfortunately they also left a lot of cowst behind!
Funny how someone else memories can trigger your own
Again congrats on the finished blog.

Thanks for that Tom! I bookmarked several roads and destinations for a future adventure.

Have you been out far since then, still have the 125? Oh sorry I see you do still have it! Lovely!

I'm now working out how much it would cost on my GS... And if I'd go off road as much tongue out

Great write up, enjoyed this final part. Shame on that Honda dealer for pulling that stunt. They must have known it could have been adjusted.
