very good again ..thanks for doing this, it's very enjoyable ..
Cheers Graham! It's much appreciated that people are reading it, and also enjoying reading it!
It takes a considerable amount of my free time that isn't spent working on or riding bikes hence it taking so long to get a post up
Update - Apologies it isn't part 4 in the series (if anyone here has actually read 1-3) but it is a promise that after a bit of a st 2018/2019 I'm promising to finish the story and post it here when it's done.
Progress on the story has been made and hoping to finish before the end of Jan. I'll update the OP with links to part 1-3 too for ease of use.
Cheers

I had to check out pt3 to remind myself about your trip .. Congratulations on completing the write up which was very enjoyable .. and even more for completing the trip ..
You're not the only one I had to do it multiple times while writing too and I'm the one that did the bloody tripThanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. Onwards and upwards with next project.
Got some plans for the CG for some interesting videos as sadly the two times I took it Scotland I didn't think of doing any further write ups and wish I had now
Glad you've finally finished the blog, a great write up and we've ridden a lot of the same roads over there, albeit I was aided by about 8 times the cubic capacity.
There's nothing better than just following your nose with no real plan set in place.
Funnily I remember being in Ulm several years ago, and thinking that Lake Constance looked nice, so headed that way and then saw Egg on the map. Seeing the name of the town I just had to go there! It just happened to be the day that all of the cattle in Austria are moved down from the alpine pastures into the valley, so there was loads of processions of cattle accompanied by the cowherd in lederhosen and the sound of cowbells, great to see but unfortunately they also left a lot of cowst behind!
Funny how someone else memories can trigger your own
Again congrats on the finished blog.
