Thanks chaps!

Apologies it took so long but I hope it was worth the wait.

I'll be sure to update the thread when there is more, or if any of you are on facebook/instagram I often post on there when I am adding posts to the website thumbup

A great read, well done.

Makes me want to pack up my stuff and ride towards the horizon.
Thanks Harry, very kind of you to say! Part 3 will begin shortly.

I must admit one of the reasons I write is to inspire others to worry a little less and jump on their bike for a similar adventure so I am glad it has achieved it's goal.

The people require, may, DEMAND part 3. You have to now. It's the LAW.

Then you will be pleased to here I started writing the first paragraph tonight.

I deliberately made a rod for my own back so that I do finish it for everyone who is interested!

clap very good again ..thanks for doing this, it's very enjoyable ..
Cheers Graham!

It's much appreciated that people are reading it, and also enjoying reading it!

It takes a considerable amount of my free time that isn't spent working on or riding bikes hence it taking so long to get a post up

Update - Apologies it isn't part 4 in the series (if anyone here has actually read 1-3) but it is a promise that after a bit of a st 2018/2019 I'm promising to finish the story and post it here when it's done.

Progress on the story has been made and hoping to finish before the end of Jan. I'll update the OP with links to part 1-3 too for ease of use.

Cheers

You're not the only one biggrin I had to do it multiple times while writing too and I'm the one that did the bloody trip

Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it. Onwards and upwards with next project.
Got some plans for the CG for some interesting videos as sadly the two times I took it Scotland I didn't think of doing any further write ups and wish I had now frown

Thanks black-k1 thumbup it certainly turned out to be unexpected in many ways but definitely memorable and all is well that ends well.

Cheers Rushjob! Glad it sparked a memory for you and glad you enjoyed it too.

Cheers Griffo! Glad you enjoyed it and that it's potentially helped some future trips.

Still got the CG and it's currently in the garage just having new chain and sprockets when I get round to finishing it hehe

Since that trip its been to Shropshire where I dismantled it to fit in the boot of a car I bought on ebay. I also went to Scotland to do some of the NC500... twice! As well as its been down to Cornwall for a quick blast and around Dartmoor/Exmoor on a camping weekend earlier this year thumbup

Cheers PurpleT - agreed I was really upset by the dealer, whom I haven't named bu it'd be easy to find. I think it was just disappointing, but equally eye opening to be deceived and conned in my opinion. But lesson learnt and I've still got the original clutch for whenever the new one actually does give up!
