Who has purchased a new Africa Twin?

If bigger footpegs are required - generic xr650 peg fit.
Nice and cheap.

I'm sure this has come up before but it's not ride by wire is it?Throttle cable cruise is very tricky I believe, I was told only one motorcycle has ever had such a system.
Latest model has ride by wire electronics, therefore cruise control now a more likely addition.

New wheels for mine. Current rims pitted badly and spokes corroding nicely. Shame about the 13 week wait for replacements. Ballbags.
Was that covered under warranty without quibble?My spokes haven't faired to well over the winter but the rims look ok. I thought they had addressed the dodgy spokes but mine look a mess.

i am gobsmacked at how bad the wheels can get. Mine has done 1300 miles, cleaned after its been out in the rain and the spokes are still corroded. I will get the wheels changed but i would not be surprised if the new set also corroded.
This must be costing Honda a fortune.
I read somewhere the wheels are made by DID, so i would think it is costing them a fortune.This must be costing Honda a fortune.
My wheels are hilarious. 13,000 miles on them and only a few months old and you cannot see them through the corrosion.
Giving mine a wash at the weekend noticed a bolt hanging out of the sump guard,bikes only done 900 miles.
As you look at the bike from the rear it's the left hand side bolt nearest the footrest,maybe worth checking next time you're fettling with the bike.
Can anyone recommend a U-lock that fits under the seat or is it just a case of buying the original Honda one?

Maybe you're not riding it properly. This in on the OEM tyreshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_89ePdB7KM&fe...
Finally got my bars fitted and took it out yesterday...
Within 10 minutes, got so stuck had to ring a mate to help get me out. 2 hours later free! fk off roading, and I'm blaming the tyres...
Off to the borders in time for dusk;
Mud gives a good indicator of lean.. There's fk all wrong with these "ditch finder" tyres in the dry. That 21" front or sloppy adventure suspension gave in long before the tyres even hinted traction issues (TCS level 2);
Great day.

I would not be surprised
Honda metals and build quality is not what it used to be. That said, DID make the wheels in this instance,
The second bit definitely. I've had honda mx bikes for over 20 years and typically they have always been the bench mark for build qualityHonda metals and build quality is not what it used to be. That said, DID make the wheels in this instance,
