I've sent an enquiry about one of these. I currently have a crappy old thundercat that I use as a commuter, was considering changing it for something more upright and comfy as I have another sportsbike and a naked anyway. £70 a month seems like a bargain, it costs me £100 a week to drive to work in my Pajero and I quite often take that over the thundercat so if I had a more comfy bike with decent weather protection that I use more it would save me money....

I'm collecting mine on Friday from Vertu in Nottingham. I think mine was the last one they had left. I put £1000 into the deal & the monthlies are just over £40. I've not ridden on the road since 2003 so expected the insurance to be the deal breaker but I've got covered for £250 with Devitt. Next job is to clear some space in the garage & get sorted with a new helmet & gear etc.

A nice 4 hour drive up to get it. Paperwork signed. Screen and wing mirrors removed and in the track wagon it went.

I love it!

120miles done, never seen so much rain.

The bike is brilliant fun, that DCT gearbox is a masterpiece.

What are the insurance coming out at for everyone?

For £2590 i cant seem to get the idea of this out of my head.. Especially if i really fancied sneaking off to Tanzania for the weekend.

I'm currently without bike having sold my KTM 1050adv in March. Since then I've been thinking of buying something like an old Street Triple just because I was missing getting out every once in a while.

Having seen this thread 10 minutes ago and reading to the end to see if they're still doing the deal, I'm now thinking of ringing up once they open and ordering one. The £70 a month thing for the first 3 years makes huge financial sense to me at the minute and it would allow me to ride a new bike. Matt black is very tempting!

For current owners, whats the bike like in terms of build quality? I've read a bit about rusty spokes which surprises me with Honda.

The rusty spoke issue has been sorted on the MY17 model. Build quality is good

Insurance and the need to buy all new kit put me out unfortunately. Had a licence for 18 years, age 35, bike not garaged but would be in a locked shed in a locked hard to access rear garden, but having not had a bike for 5 years now have No NCB so it was coming out around £500 fully comp.

I've decided not to get one. It's a cracking deal but I would exceed the 4000 mile limit within 10 weeks of commuting so it would actually be pointless for me. It's a shame as I think it would be a great bike for my commute.

Enjoy your new bikes everyone thats got/getting one.

They will adjust the deal to cater for larger mileage.

Or you can just pay the excess mileage.

Or it doesn't really matter at all if you're going to keep the bike.

Seems like a bit of a flimsy reason boxedin
