Question if I may about the PCP that people took out.
Is it the case that you have to pay more than half the Total Amount Payable if you want to end PCP early, (Voluntary Termination) and in this case (as you got the pcp deals so cheap) it effectively means you can't hand the bikes back early, ie you are committed for the entire 36 month duration?
Because the deal was (from earlier post) "£8995ish. 0% depost 0% interest. 36 payments of £70 then I just pay them the final £6475"
So the Total Amount Payable is £8995. 50% of that is £4497.50. But in 36 months you will have only paid £2520 ie £1977.50 short of 50% of the total amount payable.
Have I worked that out right? Reason I'm asking is I'm looking at a pcp and I'm trying to establish if in the above situation you are effectively locked in for the 36 months, you can't end early (not financially viable)

Oh that’s interesting thanks. I want one, but the thought of being committed to 3 years with one bike I don’t know if I can do! If I could get out with penalty that isn’t too bad I’d go for it
If you get a crazily good deal on 0%, there's a chance you'll have equity in it, so can effectively get out of it really easily.Vertu are doing 99 down and 106 a month for a standard manual bike. Ought to make a DCT Adventure about 125 a month.

I’m out as Big Dunc would say. Traded in the AT on Friday and now have a Triumph Speed Triple in the garage. There was much to like about the AT & after a 10 year lay off it was the perfect reintroduction to 2 wheels. The Triumph ups the ante slightly but I’m only 2 rides in and pretty smitten. I’m already looking forward to 2019 and getting the miles in and taking it to a circuit for a lap or 2.

Deffo sounds more suited to what you need! Enjoy!I'm not using the standard tyres anywhere near as much enough to justify swapping them yet, but when I do swap I'd love something good on tarmac but with an aggressive look. I'd love to take it off-road sometime, and it looks a lot better with off-road tyres, but my riding has been 100% road so far...

Tough to find a good road tyre with that aggressive look! I want some Karoo 3s fitted as when I do go off road I really do but mon - Friday i'm hustling up and down the motorway, not sure how much mileage I'd get.
Don't want the hassle of a second set of wheels, can't win!
Coming up for 3000 miles, in just under 3 months.
TKC70s here.
Not much comparison but on front is a bit odd at first on the road but make a lot of sense off road.
Took them on dry fields, dirt tracks and snow, they seemed fine to me but I have only really pushed on the road in good conditions and in a field, in the latter case the front let go a couple of times but that was probably my error as I’m an off road novice.
I’d get them again as a 70/30 tyre. No complaints, easy enough to fit.
